Hi Guys, PLEASE can someone pass the file on to me? I don't know what It is between AOL and Rapidshare but they just don't work together. I've tried to download the model several times using the free option but just get the download expired notice.

Oooo. Sarcasm. That requires a response (sorry I didn't see this sooner or you might've gotten a reply). In general, we aren't supposed to be exchanging models without the designer's permission, even if its a freebie. I can't host it anyway. My suggestion: fire a very nicely worded request to Mr. Rukr directly (edit out any sarcasm) explaining the problem and asking if he'd be willing to send a copy directly to you. Also: be patient.

I'm not much of a fan of Rapidshare, but at least I got mine to work. I don't know what it is with AoL. You might want to complain to them, threaten to leave and go to a competitor if they don't shape up, etc.

It's usually bad form to distribute another designer's work without his permission. We are not ignoring you, we are respecting Jan's contribution to card modeling.

Don't blame us for AOL's policies either.

im pretty sure that you could use mozilla firefox or internet explorer if you start aol then minimize it. i have heard alot of people say aol doesn't work with rapid. and really man you barily wated 2 hours befor a sarcastic remaric thats just bad form.

Seriously: AoL? I didn't even know they were still doing business. Goes to show what I know. I just thought they were junk mail spammers from the late 90s and early 2000s filling up landfill sites worldwide with CD ROMs they mailed to everyone who had a fixed address, but no one wanted. I guess that strategy seems to have worked for them.

Lets move on and keep this thread focused on the sweetness that is Mr. Rukr's amazing model.

So here's mine! Although I'll probably not be able to build the Sulaco since the two of us wouldn't fit into my flat at the same time
Had to do some extensive edge covering and discovered that a whiteboard marker is excellent for that, since you can wipe the black off the colour laser printed surface and it stays only on the white spots.
It's really cute I think

Gorgeous, Jan. I haven't been this excited to build a model since....since, well, since just before uhu released his Discovery. These are great times to be a paper modeler.
