Amazing ,turning off an imaginary light at the end of an imaginary tunnel has become an explosive BBQ Christmas party. And no one invited me. I hope the party bombs out!

It has yet to be determined what the phenomena are, so to call it a "light" at the end of the "tunnel" is premature.

OK Tetters, it looks like folks need a little demo to convince them. Stand by to insert key...

"He's making a list; he's checking it twice,
gonna find out who's naughty and nice.
Santa Claus is bombing this town."

O' Holey Night is what it's going to be!

Have you ever considered the possibility that the light could be, I mean could be the sun lightshining in the other end of the tunnel, in which case you would have to turn off the sun.

No problem. I've been working on a Trilithium probe which I can launch into the sun and cause it to go supernova. Unfortunately, the planet will also be destroyed in the process...

If you haven't seen Star Trek Generations...you'll have no idea what I'm talking about. http://www.startrek.com/startrek/view/series/MOV/007/synopsis/87.html

tetters I read the fine print. I don't watch it and I have no Idea what you are talking about but it doesn't matter as I don't even exist this is all in my imagination.

The sun will (appear to) turn itself off every 12 hours or so, depending on where you stand on the globe. If it goes dark, then that rules out the sun.

If it doesn't go dark - or you're above the Arctic Circle - you will need that dang Trilithium probe.

In the first place, if the light were "the Sun", it would only be visible from inside a tunnel for a period of each day. The remainder of the time the tunnel would be in total darkness.

Secondly, the Trilithium Probe was actually developed for Bones to use in place of the ancient colonoscopy procedure once practiced on Earth. I wouldn't advise "launching" it at anything.

BTW, have any of you noticed the gigantic flush handle installed on the outer portal of the tunnel? I think it serves a more basic purpose than we have thus far considered.

:flush1: Don't flush it!

Oh, Crap. Oh wait I can't, run like hell, which way the light went out, oh wait it's back on. Or is it the sun? Where is Les when he is needed? Dang never mind.

You must remember I don't exist . this is all a figment of my imagination, therefore I am a figment of my imagination since I am taking part in this madness. If I am a figment of my imagination and do not actually exist. then I can't have an actual imagination. Now if I can't have an actual imagination then this whole delema cant be a figment of an imagination that doesn't actually exist. Are you following me here? So after long thought on the subject. I think I have figured it out. the light at the end of the tunnel has to be real. Do I need to go over this again or did all understand? IT IS REAL !!

( I think I confused myself on this one)
