This is looking supern Tomfogo! I really like it so far. What are you designing it in? Is the render rounding over the edges, or will it actually have all those curved edges on the arms etc? What's phase two?

Thanks!!! I´m using Metasequoia, and yes, the render is rounding over the edges, but the model won´t be too "cubic". And the phase two is a little secret yet, but probably next week I will show you!!!!

Now the phase one is complete!!!

I´m playing with the GIMP and do this two pictures, just to compare my two models...

Now, phase two, go!go!go!

thanks!!! This model won't be poseable, because phase two, and about the balance issue, I will design a stand like the Aile Strike, so Freedom is gonna be flying!!!:twisted:

Yes, I'm using meta to put the textures but, the texture itself was made on GIMP!!!

How about creating a full gundam movie using only cgi. I'm talking about using all the sound, most of the big characters - the original eng voices...all in 3d. I'd say that would be a challenge. I'm looking fellow gundam fans to help the bunch of us already on it. His freedom is amazing. Are you talented?

that's a pretty awesome idea! Certainly it would be a challenge, check out Cinema 4D, it's a fantastic program for cg animating.

I have my talents alright, but this wouldn't be one of them, sorry
