Got my CTT the other day have not looked at it much yet.

Looked at Sunday adds lots of Limited quantities adds for the Wii, Nitendo has some cutthroat marketing by limiting available product and hyping up the system to keep the price up sign1 My sisters kids have both the Wii and an Xbox360 they play the Xbox more when they are not busy with other activities:cool:

I am going to order a set of MOW cars from the Western depot they are on sale.:thumb:

Good evening,
No train activity today, but just to keep the Chief and you all up to date. 13 year old grandson got himself a doe on Friday evening after school. This is his second deer. Also the soy beans and corn have all been harvested on the farm. We had a beautiful day today, but it is supposed to go down hill all week from here and get much colder by weeks end. Everything is now winterized except for insulating the pond filter. Will catch that in the next day or two. Even have the heater in the bird bath, nothing but the best for our feathered friends.

Good morning.

It's 55 and clear. The high should be in the mid 60's and it will be sunny.

I don't anticipate getting much done today as I have two doctors appointments to go to. The first is this morning to the foot doc so he can poke and prod my feet some more and the second is this afternoon to my primary care provider so he can poke and prod me all over. Maybe I'll be able to get started on the top roof of the coaling station. I'm also working on a 4 track pedestrian bridge so my people don't have to be walking across the tracks.

Good morning folks

It was 43 F as I rolled out this morning. High will be 60 F.

We had a busy weekend with Popcorn Show and Sales and Cub Scout Fitness Day. This was the last weekend for the Show and sales and the popcorn sales end Friday.

No trains this weekend. Since popcorn will be done soon I am hoping for more free time.

Wife’s Tracker is in the shop for state inspection. Hopefully it won’t cost too much. We got off easy with the van so we are figuring if our luck holds we will get slammed on this one.

On Saturday night when she was coming home from the museum she came across a car that had spun out on a curve at the beginning of the northbound Media Bypass (US 1). The car was half up the embankment and had a blown tire. It was driven by a 17 year old girl with her friend in the car. My wife stopped. The girls were hysterical but uninjured. My wife called the police and let the girls call their parents. The road was wet from the recent rain and slick from the leaves. While they were waiting my said cars were sliding all over the place like the road was icy. Also while they were waiting two accidents happened in the southbound direction almost directly across from them. My wife left once the girls’ parents showed up. Ironically the location was the same spot that her father spun out about 20 years before.

I hope everybody has a good day.

Morning. Not much planned for this week. Suppose to turn cold and windy tomorrow. Got to take Lucy to groomers at 1:30. Her Mom will pick her up. Have a great week.

Where is everybody today? Just ran the H10 around the outer loop a couple of times, needed a train fix. Not much ambition today. I was going to mow the lawn, but convinced myself it didn't need it. Hope the wife agrees. Going to the Museum tomorrow instead of Wednesday this week. The weather here is dark and dreary, but no rain so far. We had 1-1/2" on Saturday which was badly needed, the first rain of October.

Hey guys, sorry I've been away for such a long while, life caught up and, well, you know the rest.

Anyways, thanks to a chain of events caused by a complete misunderstanding, I now have these two beauties (the engines, not the robots):

Got my two doctors visits wrapped up this morning so I wouldn't have to make a second trip to town in the afternoon. When I got home I discovered that the cable internet was out - again! Called Suddenlink and told them what I think of the problem. Supposedly there's a tech coming tomorrow to check the problem out. My parents (1/8 of a mile from here) were off too so the problem isn't in my system. My neighbor was off too. Boy, was he ever ticked! Seems that the promblem is in a booster between here and the highway but nobody seems to know which one. RIGHT! Someday somebody is gonna put a load of buckshot in that booster then it will HAVE to be fixed.

Good morning.

It's 39 and clear. That Yankee weather is making itself felt way down here in the south. The high will be in the low 60's and it will be sunny.

Got both of my doctors visits wrapped up in the morning yesterday and got home to find that the high-speed internet service was offline. So what else is new! I spent almost two hours on the phone talking to a tech in Tyler who seemed intent on proving that the problem was with my system, even after I had already told him that everyone else out here was out as well. He checked the status of my modem and didn't get any signal back, little wonder since no signal was getting through to it. I had him check the status of my parents modem (I know it was on because I was looking right at it, as I was using their phone) and he got the same results. I asked him what does it signify when you get the exact same result on two completely independent systems 1/8th of a mile apart and he agreed with me that it's got to be a problem upline of our location. The nets up now, barely. It's running about 1/3rd speed on download and upload. A tech is supposed to be coming today to look into the problem. Usually that means they make adjuments on the piece of equipment causing the problem and it's OK until the next time the weather changes (about a week).

Good morning folks

It was a wet and raw 39 F as I headed onto the leaf-slick roads this morning. The traffic report read like a litany of accidents. It seemed like you couldn’t get any where with some sort of delay. I even saw some snow flurries. Our high today is supposed to be 46 F with the rain continuing. They are calling for accumulating snow up in the Pocono’s.

No modeling last night. My daughter had an away volleyball game which they won. I am trying to wrap up our Cub Scout popcorn sale. We have to turn everything in at the end of the week.

I hope everybody has a good day.

I just went out for lunch and the temperature is 38 F and there are snow squalls a couple miles to the east. Some roads are snow covered and in a few cases closed. I don’t think we will hit that 46 F mark. The rain and the wind are really nasty. It actually stings when it hits your exposed skin.
