Gus, My pond is on the small size. 7' X 11' X 3' deep. I handle the pond. The fish are my wife's pets. Or they were. She would like to strangle that long necked rascal. One of these days I'm actually going to post something about trains. :yep:

56 degrees in St. Louis. Jeffrey, your progress is great and that DCC system looks very cool! John, I always wanted a pond, but on my hill it's not really possible.

Great news today - my wife got a big promotion she basically earned a couple of years ago, but the money finally came along for the job she is doing! She is very excited! We just got back from a celebration dinner.

Good morning.

It's 60 and clear. The high will be in the mid 80's and it will be clear and sunny.

I've got all the trackwork for the crossover done with the exception of some ballast to be laid in. The state has seen fit to give me a team of prisoners to help with that. I'll be sure to put them to good use.

Today's Weather for:

Good morning folks

It was 63 F as I head out into the mess this morning. High today will be 76 F.

I had a frustrating ride in this morning. I could not go my normal way since the interchange with I-476 was gridlocked, so I went with my secondary route. The secondary route was detoured and the detour took you back into the interchange mess. At one point I almost turned around and went back home. After an hour and fifteen minutes I finally got to work. My normal morning commute is 30 to 40 minutes.

No modeling last night. We had Cub Scout Den Meetings.

My daughter has a volleyball game this afternoon.

Our pond is man-made. It is about oval in shape about 10’X 14’. It has a shelf that is about 18 inches deep and the deep end is about 3 ½ feet deep.

Congratulations Brutus and wife!

I hope everybody has a good day.

I think they're joking about somebody tossing lawsuits around about the use of certain letters/names.

DCS is MTH Digital Command System for O gauge trains, and TMCC is lionels version called Train master command control kinda like DCC for Ho only they do not share thier code with other manufactures therfore we in O gauge have 2 propriotary systemswall1:cry:

2 rail O gauge guys use DCC and I think One S gauge maker is making thier locos to where you can add dcc if you wish.

Lionel and MTH have been sueing each other the last few years or so:rolleyes:

On a side note I have a G gauge Battery Op train with a remote and the model number of the remote is 027sign1

There was a bit of an accident in town this morning. A tractor trailer rig with a flatbed fully loaded with sawn lumber was pulling out onto the highway from the lumber mill when his load suddenly shifted sending 2/3rds of his load onto the highway blocking both southbound lanes. With the police, emergency vehicles and recovery equipment, there was only one lane out of four open and that was a northbound lane.

Back home again. Going back tomorrow evening for one night and day. Wired some, fished some, installed gas range, installed new Lowrance Maping color GPS, and got sleeve and base pole of 20' flag pole concreted in [3 1/2 80 lb bags hand mixed]. Tired and off to bed.

Tried to post earlier, but lost connection - been happening a lot at about the same time every night, so I think it is a neighbor's wireless phone maybe?
