N-Gauger, had a time getting in here. Then I went through the main site and worked down. Saw the site had new "address". Deleted my old one in favorites and copied new one to favorites. Copied it and posted it on the Coffee Pot at CTT. Need to warn us of such changes. Was worried it had "crashed".

Time for bed. Still no time for trains. wall1 Did mow grass as the good rain made it grow more than I thought. Off to Miss Edna's [Todd's Train Depot] early in the morning.

Good night all.
We didnt know when it was going to happen either :( I e-mailed a few of the regulars, then founmd out a day later that the e-mail is down too. Only a couple of PM's got through... :(

Glad you found us again!! :D

Thanks for linking from The Coffee Pot.. :) Great Idea!!!

Morning All ! Weekend off ! What to do?????

Got some chores, so think will start there, need to reinstall a instant Hot Water unit in the kitchen.

Need to get son's computer in for repair. I think the hd died. A friend of mine has a program called Spin Right. It takes a long time but analyizes each sector reestablishes a park position than reorganizes all the files to the new location. Allegedly will revive 4 out of 5 drives.

Then will see about working on the layout. Need to extend the sidings in the Engine yard about 3" to allow for a track bumper. Of course will need to extend the surface for the additional track. Going to put a light in each one as a power on indicator. THEN, if I get that done want to add a 6' siding on the mainline. I've got the switches and track, just a matter of reconfiguring. Will help for simulated operations.

Doug the pictures at Union are really great. Looks like you guys had a good time.

Waiting for pictures of Lucy and Berg.

Buckeye - Talking to family members they had watched a documenatry on the Mackinaw Bridge in MI., told them I knew the guy that built it.

BTW Chief, did you ever find that road in Roseyville? I didn't know that you all repaired them, I thought you just drove across the lawns or yards as desired.

Received my York registration in the mail yesterday, If anyone needs one I will be glad to send this one to you. Simply, write the check and send it in, I will have it all filled out, no problem.

Good afternoon,

Sorry Don, I already mailed my York registration.

Update, my York Badge came in today's mail. Only 75 days till York!!! :thumb:

Wife and I worked in the garden/lawn this morning trying to catch up with a couple of weeks of neglect. Looks a little better. Trimmed three carts full from around and in the pond.

It started to rain a little and we quit. Rain didn't amount to much, but it has been cloudy and thundering all afternoon without much rain to show for it so far.

Then worked on the dollhouse project for a couple of hours this afternoon, staining logs, what a pain.

No train work today, but I do want to get back to working on the catenary soon, as I would like to have it completed when the E-44 shows up from MTH.

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. Supposed to be a nice day here tomorrow.

Well...finally made it back...With Dolly (not Parton...the hurricane), and the "drop" of the Gauge, it's been sometime since I had the chance to visit. Looks like all is back to "normal" here.
Don...I know for a fact that they use roads in Roseyville...What surprised me was that one was lost...

Evening all. Back from a gathering at FIL's. Good food. Will not go into the reason we had the gathering. Too complicated. Wedding of Wife's Nephew this coming Friday evening. Got a sprinkle this afternoon. Good trip to Todd's Train Depot. Got what I needed to insulate a siding to park Big Boy. Now to get it done. Got train meet tomorrow at 9 AM. Street not lost. Seems two residences down a "path" [not street] that have Town Water and sewer but not in Town Limits. Should not be on any services. Not paying taxes. Another "good ole boys" trick that was done during old Roseyville days. New Sheriff in Town. Good night all.

Prayers for your healing, Ozzy, and for all others on the forum who need them.

Jeffrey, looks like some nice buys man!

Finally got lawn mowed in back and now the front and sides need to be mowed again, lol. What a mess.

John (jefelectric) - I have the York dates scheduled off from work, but wife wants to go back to Disneyworld and kids do too. I suspect they will win this one again. Oh well, Disney is fun too. Maybe in 2 years?

Good morning.

It 71 this morning and thunderstorms abound. The high today will be in the upper 90's and mostly cloudy.

We had a structure fire call from 911 at about four this morning, just about thirty minutes after the lights had gone out from a storm passing through. So I went to the station and with the help of another fire fighter got the generator set up to raise the bay doors. Once they were up the trucks were out and away to Shady Lake RV Park, the source of the fire call. It was a rather nice RV and was well ablaze inside with the fire just breaking through the roof. The fire was put out by unit of the New Llano, Leesville and Sundown fire depts. The RV was unoccupied at the tuime of the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.

Good morning - storm woke me up, but I had overslept anyway. Need to fix a toilet or just replace it, can't decide. I'll probably just do a fix on it - the supply column inside the tank is leaking so the toilet is draining off and on through the day. No leaks outside or anything though, just wasted water down the drain. TTFN!

Good afternoon folks

It is a pleasant 80 F. High today will be 86 F

We just got back from getting my daughters hair cut fixed. She went yesterday and the stylist did what I can only call a hack job on it. It was uneven and looked like a blind person cut. We went back this morning and another stylist redid it. While it is not perfect it does look better.

I messed up my weekend schedule. I thought the 50th birthday party was yesterday it is next Saturday. We did some back to school shopping; getting shoes and backpack.

No modeling yet this weekend. I did clean up the layout some from the last photo session and began to set-up another one. I hope I can do the photo session and some training running later tonight.

In about an hour we are going to go out to Tyler Arboretum to look at the treehouses they have on display. My son has a friend over and when he leaves will be heading out.

I hope everybody has a good day.

I can't find the link the Index page of threads on "The Gauge"?

Ditto "Active Topics" pertaining only to model railroading?
