Here is my latest Diorama:

R2-D2 and C3PO at the Death Star, trying to shut down the garbage compactor beneath the Detention Block.

This is my first Diorama with lighting.

What can I say but amazing!

I have also made this R2-D2, but yours, combined with the diorama and the magnificent C3PO...it is truly a masterpiece.

The C3PO is from uhu, right? What is the source of this R2-D2? Did you have to resize either of them? And, if you please, I would like to hear more about how you built the diorama background. My curiosity is my praise.

Hello,
yes, it is the C3PO from UHU,. The R2-D2 is from the following link:

http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~sf-papercraft/Gallery/r2d2/r2d2.html

The R2-D2 modell is nearly the same size, so you don´t have to rezize it.
Here are some pictures from assembling the diorama. The background is illuminated by LEDs in differend coulors. The current source is an old batterycharger from an old cellphone.

regards Loenf

Amazing. Good to see the rear of the model as well. The lights are a great addition.

That's a brilliant/brilliant diorama loenf. Yes, it really is. :wave7:

Thanks for showing the pictures from behind also.

Any chance you could give an electrical schematic? I am sure many of us would appreciate it, I certainly would.

Many thanks for the post.

Hi,
here is an sketch of the LED circuit of the Diorama.
Here is a very usefull Current Limiting Resistor Calculator for Leds

All the LEDs are parallel connected to the current source. With different resistors you can change the luminance of the LEDS.
