SEBRET,

Their works are so close. Only a few minor difrences and some coloration variations. I'm looking forward to see this one go together :D

Excellent job! I suggest felt pens, or gel pens for edge coloring.

ok, done with the feet and ankles. I don't think that the design considered paper thickness too well, I had to jam the Ankle joint in on the first, so on the second one i knew what was coming and prepared for it.

Spiffy build so far :D Are you using 60 lb paper? YOu know, normal printer paper standard here in the US? I think you try something heavier if you are, say 148? :)

im using 67 lb, I cant imagine how hard it would have been to use something heavier and get the joint into the "shoe". It just feels that the designer didn't realize that the paper used for the model would be thicker than the infinitely thin walls of a 3d program.

Thanks so much, SEBRET. I collect about every HAKO I can find. This will make a great addition to my collection! Your build is looking great by the way.

no problem CK, I love to share all the stuff i have. I have so many gigs of the stuff that i wish i could find a way to mass produce a DVDs of all of it and hand them out to people on the streets, lol. . . . but then i realize that it's just a dream, sigh.

I know what you mean. I try to get every one I associate with interested in paper modeling. It's such a great, relaxing, fun hobby to have (and it keeps me out of trouble, lol).

ok, finally an update. I finished a leg, and the second one should be quicker now that i figured it out. I wanted to create a joint just incase i ever felt like moving him, but i couldn't think of a way to join the knee for that. Instead i just jointed it above the knee. I love the cable and hydraulic details at the midpoint.

Sorry for the big pics, I don't have time to resize them right now.

Ok, im almost done with the second leg, but i haven't gotten a lot of time to work on it. I must express my amazement on how well designed this model is. anyway, I got sidetracked last knight and once again did a quick side project. I will be spending the day with a special someone, so proly wont update until tomorrow. Sorry for the lack of speed to my build, this is my first Gundam.
