Well friends!

I present that time my small model of Viper Mark II converted starting from a mod low poly for the game Starfleet Command. The intention of doing in a very reduced scale (1/200) it is for the making of a diorama of the fly deck of the Galactica. Now I am working in a Raptor but confessor that in this size and with the complexity degree with those right angles is difficult to do a small model of him... In some days I put available Viper in the section of downloads...

I just love these tiny models! More so than the big ones for some reason. I think they just have a 'cute' factor, as well as being far easier to store when tou have built them!!!

Thank you friends!

I like small scales a lot, why have stock problems and he wanted a model to be fast of setting up for that project of Diorama. I already made the uploading of PDO of Viper in two versions: one with lines and other without lines, they are in format blocked pdo (he/she Only opens in Pepakura Viewer 2). These files are awaiting approval of the moderation. sign1:thumb:

:mrgreen:Fantastic models thanks! I reckon with a bit of tweeking, this will work well wit hthe 3 foot galactica when she is released!!:thumb:

grifco, you should make a calculation on the size of a viper against a 3 foot galactica i came to about a 1/25 inch wide viper.

oh dam now i ain't a lurker anymore.

More or less by accident I managed to scale the viper to 1:144 to make it fit my plastic planes :D I'll print it this afternoon (colour laser, harhar). Maybe I'll add a landing gear, that would be cool!

I thought I'd have a go at this model but I used paper instead of card, a bit easier to fold at this size. I had a bit of problem with the plank bit that goes under the belly but I just cut off the sides and stuck it on top of the big square bit under the wings. I got a bit carried away and ended up building 3. Made a mistake on the fueselage of one, it has a droopy snout, but if anyone asks, it just had a bit of a hard landing!.

Wow!

It is a lot of nice these models Bill516. Thank you for display the construction. Friends are very happy with their comments.:thumb:sign1

I have other models that I intend to do in this size, among them Scorpion (Colonial Fighter of the 4th millennium) of the episode of the old series "The Long Patrol", Viper, Cylon Raider and Cylon modified Raider (of the second season) of the Original series.

Of the new series I will do of that size Viper VII, Cylon Raider, Heavy Raider...

As for the interior of the Galactic I didn't think about drawing that, but it is a good idea. If somebody if it enabled I would just worry about the ships.

In parallel for who remembers soon should retake the project of Colonial Movers...:p:wave:
