Hi everyone,

I figured I would post here a request for prayers; as I have everyone else I can think of praying for him. As most of you know my husband has had medical problems including surgery this past year. You all don't know him to well but Shane gets a real kick from reading all of your posts with your own comings and goings.

Shane is in the ICU unit of a local hospital; long story short his CO2 levels went to 3x the normal levels due to an infection that came on really fast. He has been on a ventilator to help clear his system, he has a high level of acidoses, a severe infection and other related problems. He went in on Wednesday, they are not sure when he will get out. A wait for the body to heal then assess the damage situation.

So if your so incline please include Shane in your prayers.

Thank you, and God Bless
Kim

Kim, prayers have been lifted. I really believe in prayer as it has helped me all too often to not. Hope all works out.

Don, that sure looks like some rough weather around your area. It is hot and humid in these parts. Supposed to rain later, but you never know... and neither do the meteorologistsannounce1. I think I saw a interview with one of the waitresses or perhaps bar maid of that eatery you show at the end. They were using bit squeegies to move the water/mud out of the place. Not good. Hope it calms down and you guys can just stick to the normal earthquake or two.

Hope everyone has a blessed weekend. Please remember to thank the vets and active duty folks. Our freedom comes at a high cost.

lastly, How is it that the kind folks across the pond get their CTT before I do?
God Bless,
dennis

Kim: Wow....He's only 31...Prayers for you and Krawler. Take care of yourself too. It's easy to lose yourself in this, and you need to keep up your strength for him.

Sir James: Any of those Cab-1? I may need to call in the tardis.

Wife and kids took Amtrak to KC area today, waiting for call that they made it. Cost about $100 round trip compared to about $200 to drive due to gas. Working tomorrow - but that will pay for a new toy train! So, it's all good! Me and Chewy are full of brats and I even had a couple Sam Adams while watching Idiocracy - funny movie!

Nice pic Jeffrey (as usual) and prayers for your tootsies. Prayers for Krawler and Kim too.

Yep! I've had diabetes since my mid twenties. Now I'm staring at the half century mark just a couple of years away and things have gotten much worse over the years, mostly because I didn't take it seriously. What's that old saying? Hindsight is 20/20? When the wounds are healed I'll be fitted for a new pair of shoes.

I have been diabetic from around 2003 or 2004 even though the doctors have took me off of the meds I still have to watch what I eat and test at least once a day but for those of us who got diabities from being over weight just a 10% loss makes a big improvement health wise.

Mom has it too but they told her hers is due to the shock to the body from where they removed a kidney that had a tumor in it. That was several years ago she still goes for check ups to make sure no cancer is poping up. She is the third person that we know of who had kidney cancer from our area also knew a doctor who had it as well.

Take care of those feet they are the foundation on which the body stands they are important.

Kim, I wondered what had happened to Krawler. He use to post here daily. He is on my prayer list. Thanks for letting us know. Now keep us posted on his condition. God bless.

Long day. Town Hall visit ended up 3 hours long and not 1 hour as planned. wall1:curse: Now I am behind on the sanding of walls I patched. Got one done. Don't know where wife put paint to match. If we can not find it at store [we know the "name" of the color but she does not know which store she got it from. Said we might have to re-paint whole room.:curse::curse::curse::curse:

Bed time.

Good morning - sunny and warmer - praying for krawler. wow, Don, am I happy I live in Illinois and not Cali today.

Kurt, do you have a link to the sanding tower you mentioned? I need a sort of coaling platform. The British had some big concrete ones that lifted up the coal truck to dump - or an alternative is just a raised platform. Others seemed to have a ramp.

Both about $30 MSRP. The Die-Cast Water Column and Sanding Tower are two of the few thing I like in MTH.
