Hello all,

Folks I have been working and building my steel mill. As of recently,I've completed the BOF bag house, flare tower, conected the down-comer and added more detail including more lights.

Right now the slag pit is taking shape. It is being built from 4" extruded foam board. With a main crusher up high ,so the haul trucks can dump there load.

Going to have to scrap the forge shop, to big and I need the space.

That is outstanding!
What is the footprint on it?

Loren

Loren,

Right now as it stands ,about seven feet wide, four feet long by three feet high . I still have more to build. Keep in mind this structure is compressed,it should be much larger.

Canada, eh?
Nice work, Patrick, you're really capturing the "feel" of a steel plant. :thumb::thumb: Nice work too on your selective compression: when the prototype is so large, it's sometimes difficult to retain that "massiveness" so necessary to keeping the scene believeable.
