Woo hoo, good news Sir James. Champagne for everyone! Sox game on the radio. Wrapped the bride's gifts while she was out - explained the facts of adult life to the job-less daughter lamenting her lack of a car. LOL. Off to run trains for a while - got a cool light to shine upon the laptop keyboard.

Congrats, Sir James!!! Glad to hear everything came out all right. My cousin's birthday party was today. Ate half my weight in garlic bread. I'll take some Tums and call it a night.

:thumb: Way to Go Sir James!

Doug, I am on the way - sorry for the late start, I missed the call sign1

Son had a band concert tonight - they were greatly improved from their last concert before Christmas (Jon, you were right, they are getting better).

Big Congrats on the new Atlas Loco, Kurt! And to Jefelectric on that Gulf Tank Car!

I'm watching a Camelback on ebay that has tmcc - need to check up on it soon.... Got my TMCC control stuff from ebay today, need to plug it in tomorrow and see how it works? Came with a book from CTT too.

CSX - that is the hardest thing, to work with old warped wood like that! Too bad you don't live close, you could use some of my tools anytime! I might get to help, too!

Dennis, hope you have had a great night with the family and caught up on your rest - the Bible says to be well rested and watch your health.

TomPM - prayers for your foot. Hang in there and hope the doc can help.

Spray painted 4 chairs and umbrella table for patio. Black now [were green]. Did interview. Three N&O articles cutting the Wake County School Board. One [I leaked] was on, they suddenly would not let the Hunter Safety Shooting Team from one school go to their tournament. Big time cut on them. Then we had voted against our School Board Rep for changing the way they are elected. We sided with County Commissioners. My buddy the Mayor of Garner told the school board they were tired of having kids from SE Raleigh bused to their school. Low income minorities. I plan to see their attendence area for our new Middle School we are helping buy before they get a CO. Do you think I will hold their CO? Yes I will.
Doug M, sorry I missed your call. Today was Cart's real birthday. His Mom came [his Dad was here working] and brought him. Cost Granddad $84 and all Cart had was a cookie and some milk. [banghead] Loves his Granddad. Got out of vehicle, GrandMom took him. He looked at me,smiled and held out his hands for me. Did not want to go back to anyone else. He knows where the toys come from. Also digging in the garden and fishing.
Just got in. No popcorn for me. Too full. Sleepy.
Sir J, great [told you so]. Good night all.

It was very much a trying and challenging task but with the hugh c clamp it was not that bad. I made the legs so they would be simple to remove and replace them. A neighbor has a few 2x4's from their basement remodel will take up thier offer of free wood, so far I only had to buy the hardware and still have more yet to buy. I am keeping a running tab on components and design features for a possible article someday will update progress as often as I can.

0730BST in a frosty, cloudy and damp Stockport. Currently -2C expected high +11C.
Had a retinopathy Monday, all clear. Next three Wednesdays- Dietitian-Blood samples-Vet. Last lot showed Liver and Kidney damage, possibly side effects of the Diabetes, have cut out all the garbage (chocolate, sugar, sweeties, sticky buns), lost 7 pounds already, 25 to go. I actually feel better for the weight loss. So I say to all my fellow fatties-'get a grip!' You'll save yourselves a lot of grief in later life.

Sir James, that's good news on passing the stress test. I did well on mine also. I've yet to have a heart attack but being a diabetic puts me in the same range as someone who has already had one so I have to be especially careful.

Good morning.

It's cloudy and 75 degrees here this morning, wind is S at 12 mph with 33 mph gusts, expecting a high of 81 and there's a good chance of thunderstorms today.

Today's Weather for:
Sundown, LA 71446-6114 4/10/2008

Heat Index: 79°F
Humidity: 75%
Dew Point: 67°F

So Far Today
High: 75°F
Low: 75°F
Rain: 0.00"
Rain Rate: 0.00"/h
Gust: 31mph S

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE TODAY...

A VIGOROUS LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER THE SOUTHERN PLAINS WILL ADVANCE SLOWLY NORTHEAST TODAY. THIS WILL MAINTAIN A STEADY STREAM OF WARM AND MOIST GULF AIR INTO THE REGION YIELDING A VERY UNSTABLE ATMOSPHERE. THIS COMBINED WITH FAVORABLE UPPER AIR SUPPORT AND WIND PROFILES...WILL BRING THE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS AND ISOLATED TORNADOES. A LAKE WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT.

Today High: 82 Mostly cloudy. Slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning...then chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 80s. South winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation 30 percent.

Tonight Low: 68 Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows in the upper 60s. South winds 10 to 15 mph.

Good Morning.........
Happy Birthday, Spankybird.
Today is partly cloudy and 44 degrees. Going up to 70 and a little rain later.
I am taking it easy today. I have a few things to do and then I will run trains and spend a little time outside. Grass is starting to grow. Buds out on trees. Spring looks good.
Everyone have a nice day,
Chuck

Thanks Guys - we will be running trains today at the museum, as we get ready for our Open House on Saturday. Yesterday I set up a very large dog bone loop of Standard gage track and ran some trains from 1924 and 1930!

Morning all. Raining here - supposed to get even more miserable into the weekend - the paper calls it a 1,800 mile wide storm. Wow.

Happy birthday to Tom and Carter! bday2John Baker, it looks like you are doing the proper things to stay well - lose weight, eat healthier. Hope the tests go well. Enjoyed a nice chat with Dennis last eve - as you know, he's a class act. Brutus, I love the look of a Camelback, hope you get it, Mr. TMCC!
