One trick to make it look a little less cluttered would be to raise the town/siding above the left end of the ovals. The mainlines would enter tunnels at that end, and break up the appearance of an oval.

This sounds like a good idea. Do you actually mean to raise the track so that the siding would rise up on a grade ... but wouldn't that be too steep? Sorry if I'm misunderstanding here!

I'm open to adding some tunnels to break up the oval affect and add more visual interest.

Thanks, Rob

Well, the siding might not need to go up much, but the terrain doing so...even if it's just a hill...to "hide" the return loop. Perhaps change the orientation of the siding to avoid a grade? I suspect that a slight alteration or sacrifice in trackage might yield a nice scenic payoff. Perhaps the siding would be in a bit of a cut?

OK -- you've got me thinking! I'll look into one of these options then! There might be enough room/space for the siding to gradually rise over the track. Thanks, Rob
