Love the candy train Tom! Can you schedule a stop on my layout? I would, of course, be off loading some of the freight! :) Fun and festive stuff!

From me, this time, just a shot of track cleaning at work as PC U-Boats pull a flea market acquisition that was originally painted and lettered for the Southern Pacific. This track cleaning car once had a working motor that spun two small sponges under the car. The motor wasn't working when I bought it so I removed the sponges and attached a small piece of masonite to their mounting posts to create a track cleaning pad. I run this car once in a while just to remove dust as Wahl oil is the real reason my trains run smoothly.

Really a sweeet start to this week’s thread. Great pics everyone :thumb:.

I am sorry that I can’t contribute to the WPF at the moment. I stored my SoCal switching layout away for the next few weeks to make room for my second switching layout, that I started building. Once the basic works will be done, it will be placed on a second level of my shelf above my first layout. Here are two photos of one of the hydrocal buildings I am scratch building for the new layout.

Some WSOR boxcars. I bought the Athearn 60th over a month ago, and picked up the breast cancer research car today. Surprisingly, even though athearn is donating a portion of the sales from the breast cancer research car, it was $2 cheaper then the 60th car!

That's neat Josh. I hadn't heard about the donation car to help support the fight against breast cancer. Nice idea!

Here is a SD9R rebuilt by Crazy Larry and his crew athe RG&S shops in Pueblo:mrgreen:

SD9R
The rebuild boosted the power output of the locomotives by replacing the 16-567C engines with Power provided by an EMD 645 16-cylinder engine which generated 2000 horsepower (1.5 MW). Other work improved the reliability by replacing the entire electrical systems, installing 48” fans, new frame and fuel tank(SD45 frame cut and shortened,) and the obviously strange use of the U30C trucks(only 6-axle trucks available at the time).

How do you like your Prodigy Advanced? I've been thinking of getting one. Is programming as smooth as they say it is?

Hello everyone.

I have been watching the weekly photo fun for awhile now andd decided to post some pics of my own. I just a short while back decided to revert back to modeling CNR steam in the early or mid 1950s. I managed to track down a couple of the Proto 2000 Hertiage steam locomotives that Hobbycraft Canada had done in CNR colors a number of years back. I was able to find an 0-8-0 and a 0-6-0. I also grabbed a couple of the new Trueline Trains CNR vans. I also have a large stack of undecorated Intermountain 40' modified boxcars waiting for CNR paint schemes.
Here is a couple of pics of my new fleet.
