CHIEF,
One more thing, can't find any of the dummy units in NS or CN. BARRY told me they are very hard to get. So might not see these at YORK?

Evening all,

A near record amount of snow has fallen in N Texas for March so far this year - no laughing - 2"!

Busy day here today. Train club meeting tomorrow morning. we had to cancel Thursday night due to the weather here. Refurbing our modular layout for the upcoming Thomas event in Grapevine Texas in April.

Hope everyone has a great evening!

Here is a cute video starring Buster Keaton riding a speeder across Canada. It is busted into three parts for YouTube.

The Railrodder
1965, Buster Keaton - classic!

Roy...The Buster Keton video is a master piece. If you want to see railroad bridges and tunnels, it has some great pictures. All scales can benefit. :thumb:

Twelve inches of snow and it is still falling. The Sharp Corner of Ohio is used to this, but here in the tropics of Buckeye Land this is the Blizzard of '08.

Tony...We will have plenty of water when the spring melt arrives. We could send you a bottle or two.

Tom...If you are at the Blue and Gold stage of live, then the next few years are more fun. The Cub Scout program is great, but the Scout program is much more fun.

Buckeye Tom...The weather channel was at Mayville, NY. at Thanksgiving telling us that it was the worst weather in the U.S. :winter1:

Morning all!
Every time I look at the pot listing over there I see only 3-names...so I don't bother.

Picked up Trains Street Running issue and OGR Building Skyscrapers issue mags yesterday. Haven't had time to read either.

Doug: Glad to hear you're back!

Spanky: I thought you were just busy at the museum. Will need to make a trip out this summer! Thanks for posting the photos!

Roy: Great video!

Date night tonight! Dinner and then out to Bride's co-workers retirement party.

Kurt....Excellent point. I believe you hit the nail squarely on the head. :thumb: Speaking of Michigan, we have narrowed it down to two places to fish this fall in Michigan; Curtis and Drummond Island.

Morning. Buckeye, TWC just said "Columbus, one inch per hour, Cleveland, more than one inch per hour." Way to go Mother Nature. :thumb: Up and moving. Chat later.

HI GIZ,
We got just liquid falling from the sky. Suppose to get more today.
Hope your SNO BLOWERS are working in SNOHIO? Remember GIZ pace yourself if you have to shovel? Use a smaller shovel too, small bites are better then big ones.

Good Morning...........
It is 24 degrees and a slushy snow is falling. So far, we have only gotten about 2 inches of snow. It is suppose to get deep by this afternoon.
Today is a stay at home day. I have a few things to do and then I will run trains for a while.
Tonite we turn the clocks ahead for DST. We get more daylight to look at the snow. sign1
I see Buckeye and Chief are up already.
Time for breakfast. Dining car is ready.
Everyone have a nice day,
Chuck

Good Morning All from NE Ohio
Where the North Coast is under a foot of snow and a second foot on the way.

We closed the Museum today because of the snow storm, so we can stay at home and clean the drive and walks!

I should be able to play with my trains today!

Chief, I think them Yankees are trying to invade! I had sleet and hail. The kids got a kick out of it as it was the first time they have seen any white stuff falling in the yard. Quickly melted and the novelty is over.:thumb:

Worked on Doll house this morning and last night. Have a little straightening up to do as some folks are coming to get one of our old entertainment centers, with TV, stereo surround system, and other odds and ends. Hope to do layout work later, but have daughter's recital practice and then both kids have Chinese language classes this afternoon.

Wife wants to go to the humane society and get a dog or two. A house just needs a dog. May help one of the guys I work with. Just put out 7500 pounds of fertilizer and with all this rain and wind, may need to get some other work in. We will see.

Chief, great to hear from you this morning. Hope all goes well.
Don't forget to set the clocks One Hour Ahead tonight as we wouldn't want anyone to miss church.
God Bless,
Dennis

GOOD MORNING
 I don't understand what the fuss is about, must have missed something or its a very old fued. Not anything new this morning except at this point the "IT" has just missed us.I'm not going to take a chance and say the word. Weather folks say we could get a little as IT is very close but we are ok so far. I had a good breakfast eggs sausage fried taters and bacon,
toast and strawberry jelly. I probably won't eat again until lunch. Trains are waiting.,,Later,,,S.J.

Morning all. Hope you are all snug and well. Cold here but blue skies no snow. For once. Yippee! Supposed to be 50 on Monday - well, I'll believe that when it happens. Forgot about day-light savings time. Thanks for the reminder, Dennis! I have chocolate-chip muffins and donuts for all of us.

Good morning,

Our 7 year old granddaughter is spending the weekend with us, yesterday we spent all day eating, shopping, eating, shopping and eating. Today is girls day out as Nana and granddaughter are out shopping again. I am taking the day to recuperate. :yep:

Will take some time to work on my trains inventory.

It is rainy here with no snow yet and non predicted for now. You guys can keep it all in Ohio. no need to share.

Dennis, I miss having a dog, it has been about 3 years since our last one.

Greetings from the Heartlands where we woke up to an even zero, no snow nor wind so it doesn't seem so bad, 50's by Tuesday :thumb:

Dennis--I did get the frozen pipe issue fixed, finally.

It's throw away morning here, getting rid of catalogs/magazines/etc., no--the train catalogs/magazines are all still here--our sons can take care of that in 20 years. We try hard not be pack rats and it's working, for the most part.

I have a PGR mission this afternoon, a welcome home event and those are FUN--lots of tears of joy.

Think spring--it's just around the corner--I hope
