I started scratchbuilding the duquense incline in Pittsburgh. Track is Z scale. I havent made the cars yet, until I get Z scale wheels. Height is reduced to fit in space allotted. Not sure if I could hook up any working pulley system to actually make it work, so it'll probably be a static model. I can't start to build the hill side until I get some pink foam. I made the walkway that crosses over the street, but have to paint it before attaching it. Whatcha think?

I have seen to mines where they also use a system like this with rail cars of ore, but not that steep i believe.
