Hello Josh M. That should be ¾" flat-head screws rather than ½" flathead screws. If you get square-head #8 Robertson screws (a good Canuck invention!), you can quickly remove the screws with a screwdriver bit and your cordless drill.

However, when installing the screws, you have to be a bit careful as you can crack the Plexiglas by torquing the screws in too tight. Even if you install and remove the screws by hand, it doesn't take that long.
