It's not rocket surgery
Glen, John,

Thanks for the kind words...! It's an HO scale model by Roco.

Glen - try your hand at the Essex. The jordan kits look a bit intimidating at first, but they go together well. Be sure to paint the parts with at least a primer coat while they are still on the sprue - this makes things much easier in my opinion. Of course, you could always send it to me...! ;)

sign1 I posted this pic on another forum and found I'm not the only one with these curtains. They've been there so long I don't even see them until someone comments on them.

Tom

PS I'm still a kid (at heart)

Great pics guys!:thumb:

Gary- neat trick! How did you get those lPP (little plastic people for those of you who don't know) in the river?

doctorwayne- wow, if I didn't know better, I'd have said that was a prototype shot right there! Words cannot describe your awesomeness:inw::worship::inw:

slekjr- wow, certainly some neat shots there. The only pics I have of an engine w/ different paint schemes is my Hustler:p

brakie- HOLY :curse::curse::curse::curse: :eek:jawdrop!!!!!!1!!1!!!!! those looks so real, especially with that faded look on the third pic!

Herc- Did conrail really have SD80MACs? Either way, that is one nicely painted loco!:thumb:

Deano- Love it!:mrgreen::thumb:

jeffery- I like your intermodial containers!:thumb: Also, is that yet another new addition to the MGRy I see?

chessie- GM50 sure is a unique engine! However, is it just my recovering sight from my surgery last Friday, or does GM50 look like it needs some fixing up, or at least on the grab irons? Those grab irons on the long hood defenently look bent inwards:confused:

Well, guys, I don't have any pics to post at the moment due to the camera battery shorting out and other things:curse: I did get to go to the train show at Johnny's Toys, though, and picked up a little something that had caught my eye for a while. I'm still working on it, but here's a pic of one:

If the pic doesn't come up, here's the link to the page: Bowser - HO Freight Cars - 100t3bay
It's item #55144

You like those containers do you? You can have some just like them. They're made of paper! I downloaded them from IGS Hansa -Tips und Tricks- . They download as PDF documents. I find that if I set my printer for non-scaling and set the paper size for A4 I get the scale just about right. This results in the back side of one container (two per sheet) get cut off a little bit. I just place them so that the back side doesn't show. I also put a block of wood measuring 2 and 10/16" x 1 and 1/16" inside each container to give them weight. If you can't download them for reason let me know. I can email the PDF's to you.

The RSC-2 will eventually be repainted for the MGRy. I want to get a Digitrax DZ125 decoder for it first.
