Picked up this used house at a model train show Sunday, along with a bunch of other awesome deals. Does anyone know who its made by and how old it is? I've never seen one like it before. With a bit of paint and TLC I think it will look quite nice!

Chad no ideas on the house but like you say some TLC will greatly improve it and RonP the Woodstock show was ok,I think it all depended on what the individual was looking for,I found a couple of items I was looking for and the price was just right too.

Looks like its a kitbash. Maybe from an IHC and a Life-Like.
Maybe even a scratchbuild using windows from different kits(Thats what I do)
There might be a real house somewhere that looks just like that.

It's definitely a kit, as it has numbers at the corners for mating parts, and a few slots for locating mating parts. Seems to be a low budget/limited run type job too. No idea how old it might be....

I enjoyed the Woodstock show, or at least half of it. I left after only visiting half the booths because my glasses broke in the morning and had to make an appointment to get new ones. Also my kids were being sh** disturbers so we left early. That and I had already spent my money. :)

I picked up a bunch of second hand cars for $10 each, including a trio of the Proto 1000/Hobbycraft NSC newsprint boxcars, 2 of them are from the limited run of graffiti painted QGRY cars! Just need to put some new Kadees on them and they're good to go.

And Roger, they'd be little plastic people. :)

Revelle briefly went heavily into ho scale just before slot cars suddenly got popular. The result was that model railroading for kids pretty much died out for a while, and Revelle bailed out. I think Revelle sold their dies to most of the model manufacturers, since I've seen the old Revelle structures offered by numerous manufacturers. I don't know if this house is a Revelle structure or not, but when you see the same structure offered by more than one manufacturer, it is probably made from the old Revelle dies.
