Evening all. Been a cold day. No wind now. Fed Deer. They were munching corn when I left. Did buy another cabinet for under the layout for parts and etc. Cleaning up real well. Tom, got several boxes for your museum. Probably some more. Wife came home from shopping and brought me a steak. Want to do some more storage of cars under layout in the sliding tubs. Finding more cars in boxes I have never opened.:confused: Maybe they are like rabbits and are multiplying. Hungry.

Good Evening..............
Just sitting in the big chair and watching TV. Busy day today. Got all the shopping done and had to get gas. Went past the Shell station and it was at $3.05. Came back 20 minutes later and it was at................$3.19 a gallon. That is insane. The price is even going higher, I hear.
Be back later.

Yeah, I don't understand these gas prices at all. Ours was $2.89 yesterday and over $3 this morning I think? Luckily I filled up yesterday.

Jeffrey - close that door! Freezing cold here today! You need to push some warm air up the Mississippi to St. Louis like normal! One store I went by this morning apparently left their outside water on - you can see where the sprinkler system burst and froze over, right out into the street!

John Baker - doesn't putting all the butter on the streets in Stockport for the grits you throw around make things a little slippery?

Kurt, I intend to lose some weight and spend more time with the kids.

Buckeye, just thought we might have a contact that could do a little heads up on someone taking up their company's time on the internet instead of working. announce1

Chief... he still works for them. He is in the Bethesda, MD office now. Doing what, I'm not sure. We don't talk too much shop when we see each other. Mostly talk about the troubles with our college football team. :curse:

Laz...You noticed that rating thing, too. I thought I was the only one. Gee, I wonder if anybody else noticed it.

Evening All -- Real busy day !
We have these rain storms coming in, so....
- Cut the lawn, (yard) more weeds than anything.
- Cleaned up all the backyard and blew out all the drainage areas along the side of the house.
- Cleaned pool
- Got new windshield wiper blades on El Camino
- Pulled weeds from back flower bed.
Sounds like I'm winterizing, huh ???
Also took picture of river bed directly behind us, so will have a "dry" picture and a "flowing" picture in a couple of day.
Are you ready Doug ??? Here it comes !!!!!
Chris spent the day snowboarding up at Big Bear today, and Kay worked the office.
Worked in train room, have ZW's all wired in, with circuit breakers on each circuit. Major achievement.

I am really ticked, I will explain tomorrow, need to check some information before I go off half cocked.

Up from reclinerizing as Burg [lab] is barking. Let him out to get what ever?? Then crawl in the real bed.

Hatter, I don't have my plane ticket you were to send for me to go to wedding and reception. Congrats old buddy. Do pictures and post on the Caboose.

Chief, I may try that "Like rabbits, they're multiplying" thing with the wife to explain how the kids closets have been filled with my trains! Then again, it could cause my southern belle to come unhinged and pop me one. Getting ready to head in. Big day with plenty of cases. Will try to check in later, but Y'all have a great day and weekend.

TomPM: Thanks for the links! Very detailed!

Acrobat decided it was going to check for updates on it's own and locked me up.:curse:

Chief: If you're on the phone...why can't you run trains??? Tell them you're stuck at the station! Multi-tasking baby!

Brutus: One more...I'm going to start my layout. I have been running it on plywood for a year...Now it's time to make a committment. Redo benchwork, and top, and re-lay track. Benchwork structure is getting in the way of the control panel area, and I want the soundsoak on the top.

Morning all. Still cold but suppose to be warming. Got to go to Town Hall. More work to do upstairs. Dennis, tell Kim I said they multiply. Then she would believe you. BTW: Dr. John and Dennis, looks like I am scheduled to go to Prattville AL on March 6 thru 9 for BPS. I'll be working about 3 or 4 events and that is it. They gave me a choice of Myrtle Beach or Prattville. So to visit my buddies, I told them Prattville.

Morning all. Cold again today. It is like that here in Jan. Those gas prices sound cheap - watched it bounce from 3.05 to 3.21 in a few hours. Never seems to go down though.

My painted brake van came out terrific. Have to root around for a lantern.

Kurt, if you build it, we will come (over that is). Go go go!announce1

Brutus, what was Ace of Cakes about - sounds yummy.

Hmmm, my bride reminded me it is 41 days 'til Valentines Day. Wonder if I'm supposed to do something about that?;-)

Good Morning from West Texas !!! It's a sunny 35 degrees out this morning. Not to bad actually, since there is almost no wind moving around. We're expecting a high of 61 this afternoon. I'm off to the lumber yard again. Hopefully, I'll have the makins' of a train table together by sundown.

Have a great day all !!!

Good luck on getting it done. Post photos. I did on my layout construction. Step by step. Also, consider this; adjustable legs.
