Morning all, Sorry to hear about your dog Chief. We were very lucky to save Boco, one of our dogs. Just don't ask about the Vet bill!

Great to hear your trains are up and running John B. Hope the "Management" will allow continued layout expansion:thumb:.

Got a coat of sealer on the gamesroom slate floor yesterday. Hope to get the second coat on later today. FIL has done a great job on the Stainless legs for the layout. I'll try and post some pics later.

Have a good one

Nick

Morning all. Raining in NC. Thank you Lord.

Tired of "tip toeing" around. I let him know it. Wonder how long that will last? train97bounce7:rofl: He thumbed his nose at me on the reply to starting a new POT on New Years. Only reason I am is because I started it years ago and my respect for the CTT management. If not, it could die. Mr. Keller and I may have to have another long phone conversation.:twisted: A good thing over there. Grayson is showing signs of maturity. Give him time.

Now for the good part. Wife and I slept until 8 AM. No one waking us at 4 AM and needing to go out and want his hot dogs [breakfast]. Burg [lab] slept too. This is the good side of loss of a friend.

Going to do more train work and help wife store inside Christmas in tubs under layout. This rain sure is good. Pond will be flowing over the spillway again. Last rains had it to a "micro-inch" of going over yesterday.

Looks like it took all of a couple of weeks for numbnutz to slide right back into his old routine - which is exactly what I posted on the forums a few months that got him all pissey to begin with.

He keeps pushing and pushing and pushing until he looks around and realizes he has ticked so many people off he is standing alone in the middle of the room.

Then he gets all humble and artifically helpful and apologetic and a smaller and smaller number of folks are taken in by it and all is well for a couple of days, and then he just falls right back into his old routine - pushing buttons and being the class clown.

The cycle continues and less and less folks want anything to do with him.

Pity so many folks have walked from CTT because of him and his childishness.

 I try to stay out of that kind of mess but sometimes it involves those that I have learned to respect and it annoys me and it's hard to ignore.
No train running yet today I'll wait to see what the Lions have to offer before I decide. Later,,,,,,Sir James

It is thundering and lightning in Roseyville. Thunder in the winter means snohio in so many days [how many is a point of arguement, most say ten]. Pouring rain and has been for a while. Sure the pond is now again running over the spillway. :thumb: Hope this will help fill others ponds that do not have the inflow I have. Hope it is raining this hard or harder west of the Falls Lake. Will help fill it back up. Later.

I just posted on the S, O and G section the requested "formular" for adding smoke units to engines [if room allows]. If any of you see things missed, please jump in and add.

Good afternoon,
Weather here is turning colder. Been within a degree of 28 all day so far. Like Laz we are supposed to get a couple of inches tonight. He usually gets a little more as he is further North and a little higher.

Went to a wedding last evening, a cousins daughter, not sure what that relationship is but we have always been close to that part of my Mom's family. Very nice, the church was packed and the reception was BIG. It was a real feast and was still going strong when us "old" folks left at 9:30. Actually I wanted to get home and see the last half of the Penn State bowl game & a little of the Patriot / Giants game. Penn State won and I didn't really care who won the other one.

John B. , Glad to see you back. When you said the management, did you mean your dear lady or the building management?

I've got to make some room for incoming trains. Got a 3 unit Atlas F3 in DL&W freight paint coming in next week from AM Hobbies. Think I will pack a few away and get rid of some that I never run anymore.

Morning all. Uh, afternoon. Sounds like a good day for all. I tried putting together the four walls of the hydrocal 'burger stand last eve. Boy, that stuff is absorbent. I am going to try to spray paint it lightly and try again.

I am going to look at some inadvertent grades on curves I have on my bumpy layout where Percy and Thomas mysteriously derail. I would love to figure out how to add front couplers to both. Maybe buy some and try to glue them to the shells?

Kurt, those are real Toronto trolleys running in the background of that scene!!

John, I have you to know, anything Nawth of the Mason Dixon is NAWTH.

Did like the photos for the calves. I guess they will go for winning Grand Champion again. Great Grandkids you have there. They will be responsible. Teaching them to handle and tend to an animal like that teaches responsibilty.

1.3" of rain in the last 12 hours and more falling. :thumb:
