AWW MANNN THAT STINKS!!!!

We'll make a deal with you....

We'll keep praying! --- You start healing!!!!

Geeze - let us know what's going on!!!! Good Luck!!!!

Ozzy,
I couldn't agree more ! And as always the big issue is always being early, so with all the doubts .... Hopefully that the way it will be here as well. Definetly have prayers from out here, and hoping for the BEST.

Ozzy.....Good luck to you. A spot on the lung, doesn't always mean cancer. I am living proof to that. Had a bad infection and had the lower third of my right lung removed. No cancer. I am glad to be alive. You'll do fine.

Nick - gamestop was a madhouse, glad to be through with that. My son had 2 games to trade in on top of everything and by luck we got in the correct line as the other 2 were not doing trades. Son and daughter were playing the Wii for a couple hours. He got (among other things) a Wii Tomb Raider game - it's the first (original) TR game with updated graphics, some other changes including new weapons and tools, and of course the Wii controllers. He says it's tough - well, it took me like a month to beat the PC version just a few years ago I think?

Kurt, that's too bad. I hope they gave you a good replacement?

Ozzy, will keep prayers going - I hope you are all better soon.

Ohizo boys and Chief are right as usual -- Bourne, Oceans 13 and Shooter are good action flicks. Also liked Live Free and Die Hard - maybe the best one!

Had nothing but trouble with Norton/Symantec products for the past 2 years and I like to think I know what I'm doing. Apparently their components have a lot of compatibility problems and also sometimes it reverts to some earlier data/file (that they can't find) and thinks it expired years ago or is a shareware version or something? I've reinstalled this last version about 15 times on 2 computers. So, the subscriptions ran out and Norton is no longer on any of my computers as of today. Of course, now I'm a nervous wreck after the fun of clearing it all off, but that is that.

This is the handiwork of one of the mayors that frequent around here. Receives HIS Legacy system, and then sends me the box!!

Talk about someone that will end up on the coal list for next year..... I don't think Chuck or Buckeye will have a thing to worry about !!!

(Now this is the part he doesn't know about.... I talked to his wife a few days ago, and she mentioned something about this. I told her not worry that I understood how too much time in a two-holer could cause excessive stress, and confusion. So I suggested that she get one of his trains and slip into that box, she thought it would help him (kinda like therapy), and also may reduce some of the smoke that they have had to tolerate. So that's exactly what happened. She also made mention that one in particular came to mind that didn't belong in their part of the country and would "slip" it into the box if she could. She DID !! I will post pictures of it tomorrow, don't want him to recognize the train and the Box in the same post, he will realize something happened. This way he will never know. --- Till tomorrow)

Hello everyone,
Don B- if we don't say anything, it could be awhile before the Chief notices whats missing, him being busy mayoring and all.
Ozzy- sorry about the news but just one spot can be removed. don't give up. and you still don't know what it is so hang in there. I made it through prostate cancer 91/2 years ago so it can be done.
We had decent weather for Mi. today but a little snow is expected tomorrow.
Kurt- I have not heard anything about Lionel leaving Mich.but I have not been to the store for about a week. when You think about it,, there is no reason for them to stay here since it's not a private company anymore.
Later,,Sir James

Ozzy, you're on my prayer list. Hope things go well for you!

Buckeye, yeah it would be fun for Prattville to play some Ohio teams. But let's do it down here in late August when we start our season. Temps and humidity in the upper 90's! I don't think our guys would know how to play in snow!

Just finished watching the first Bourne movie (for the umpteenth time) and am about to play the second one. Rented the third one to watch tomorrow evening.

Good night, all!

Good night all. Exta tired. Wife go me to got to Best Buy and then the Mall for a few. Should have known better. Then to In-laws for left overs. Run some more trains with Legacy. Built two lashups. Getting use to useing remote. Tired and headache.

PS: forgot to tell about rain.
9 tenths of an inch of rain. Cold and breezy. More rain Friday and Saturday. Folks west of us got up to 3.5" of rain. That was great as that starts filling Falls Lake [our water source].:thumb:
BTW: Don, a box is a box. sign1

Finally got done with Christmas shopping on Amazon - kids got gift certs from 2 aunts. Oh well - last year they wouldn't do it and we ended up "buying them out" and letting them spend the same amount wherever they wanted - in other words, we went in the hole on that deal. This year they both got close and only ended up fading them a couple bucks on the deal.

Don, I know what ya mean. I got a box from NC that said Legacy Big Boy on the side. Just kidding. Chief is great at helping the rest of us in the hobby. Glad to know him and count him as a friend.

We went to the mall too Chief. Got some good deals, but somehow my wallet felt a lot lighter. Then, I came home and wrote a check out for a Palisades Amusement Park car that I picked up off the Bay for $26. SWMBO asked what it was for and I told her...she just said, "you can't fit anymore trains in your son's closet", I know dear, I have already started loading up our daughter's closet too. Anyway, the connection to Pal Park was that I used to go there as a kid.
God Bless,
Dennis

She has all the Polar Express pieces except for the new tender. Is that worth getting? :?::?::?::?::?:

Buckeye - if you are referring to the PE sound tender, the sound quality is not very good.

Freezing here tonight wiht some fog possible. Some good rain east of here this morning. News said tonight that we have had 50 inches of rain this year. Fith time in recorded weather history to hit 50 " or more.

Ozzy - we hope all the best for you.

Getting late - have a great evening all!

Regards,
Roy

Good Morning...............
It is 38 degrees with a little rain. Going up to 46 today, with cloudy skies.
Today, I have an errand to run and then I will be home, taking it easy. Maybe run trains later. Not much else new.
Don....Do you like your present ?
Everyone have a nice day,

Good Morning All from NE Ohio
where the temp is 35 deg and raining.

Ozzy - Good luck at the doc's. As Chuck says, it might just be scare tissue for a past aliment.

Don - Glad to see that Santa and Chief provided you a great gift just in time for Christmas.

Yesterday I posted that MTH used SunStar for diecast cars and it should have been New Ray. (Must be old age thing again). MTH first used Corgi, then New Ray, and now Yat-Ming.

Morning all. Cloudy, damp and COLD. No rain today but more tomorrow afternoon and Saturday [thank you Lord]. Off to fix breakfast. Think I will have red hots and GRITS. :thumb: Watch some TV then upstairs to do some work. Got go by the CU and drop off my paycheck from Pro Mariner [45 days old and the UPS messed up an nextday air shipment :curse:]. Well, now I have it. :thumb: Loving the Legacy [knock on wood]. Its electronics so you never know. Got new portable phones. One master base/answering machine and other portables with charger bases. One in train room. Now I can see who is calling and let it go to answer machine. Best to everyone.

BTW: Tom, we allow one mistake like that a week. Anything over one, we cut of a finger.

Good morning! It's gray, rainy, but not as cold this a.m. in Prattville, USA. Back in the office again for a few hours. Have a funeral to attend after lunch, then back home.

Got a BCR yesterday, gonna try it out in an old PS-1 engine today to see if it works as advertised. Anyone else using BCR's in their Protosound engines?

I used some Realtrax I had on hand for the floor layout. Not happy with it! No, my issue is not with the connections (although more difficult than Fastrack). I've got several pieces where the rails are bowed in slightly, causing very rough track joints and occasional derailments. And yes, they are properly connected. I've tried re-gauging the track with pliers with no success. Never had this problem with tubular or Fastrack! wall1 I like the look of Realtrax but after this, I won't be using any more.
