Now that Christmas is here and most of us have gotten or will recieve some gifts, lets see what everybody got. I mostly asked for model railroad stuff and that is mostly what I got!:thumb:

Pictured is a DMIR bay window caboose (Walthers Platinum line)
72' centerbeam, DMIR difco dump car, Railbox car, and my AWESOME new Rodney Atkins CD (I know, not train item but its great!) I also got two ME bridges, some trees and a chopper, I think version 3 from Northwest Shortline.

Now it is your turn, what have you gotten.

Southern GP38, BNSF AC4400 and NS B23-7

Here ya go...a Soutern GP38, BNSF AC4400, and a NS B23-7 to add to the engine roster. (The B23-7 has a Lenz DCC chip pre-installed which will be the first diesel to run on the DCC layout in the planning stages. Fortunately, the decoder is configured to allow DC operation as well.)

nice sign jesso, I should make something similar, maybe a Missabe Arrowhead.
I like the BNSF unit Herc, the GP38 is pretty sweet though also.

Nice stuff ya'll got there!

In photos:
BNSF 7747, T55 ES44DC w/ sound/dcc
BNSF 2452, Walthers P2K GP30 w/o sound/dcc
RPS F250, F350 Hi-rail
Atlas F150's

Also included, but not shown:
Athearn 4 bay covered hopper, undec
Walthers Superliner II coach, lounge, & diner, all undec
BLI BlueLine BN SD9 (will be patched then sold [yes the wife knows that])
Walthers Swift, 53' trailer
Walthers Mi-jack intermodal crane
Walthers Single Track Through Trestle bridge
Sergent Engineering EC87 2x five pack
Micromark Plastic sprue shears
Micromark finger drills
Micromark Photo Etch system
Xuron Photo Etch shears
City Classics Rt 22 diner

Of note, those RPS F-series trucks are amazing! VERY detailed and WELL built. Plus, the bed is just perfect to accept a Trident toolbox bed, so I'm going to have to get a few more (2 MORE each, one UP, and one BNSF, BNSF will get the Trident bed). However, one pet peeve, the F-350 with hi-rail wheels, the wheels are modeled in the down position, so it might take some cutting to get it to the up position.

Just wait until it's painted!

I'm not a huge country fan although I do enjoy the classics like Johnny Cash,Hank Williams,Waylon and Jennings and such.

Josh, awesome stuff. You'll love the T55,I had an NP one and it was a beautiful engine and those trucks are nice! All in all a very nice haul Josh,Herc and Kevin.

Nice sign Jesso,I like it and it being made for you by your family makes it extra special.

Thanks guys! Yeah, the wife is a gifter. She LOVES buying gifts for people. Spent somewhere in the range of $1k on me, and about another $400 on her little brother & sister. I didn't even spend that much myself on her gifts, and gifts to myself.

Nice gifts guys...
Want to see what I got for Christmas?
Walk through the Men's clothing section at Wal-Mart..........

What a shame,it should have been...walk through the train section at your LHSsign1

Tetters, those Shop-Vacs are handy dandy machines and I don't think anyone here would mind getting one of those.

Haha! Tha's great Tom!

My newhews and my brother each came over with head colds. Now I am starting a head cold - so I gues that's what I got for Christmas :( And this morning, my cat started acting sick, so he had to go to the vet, and my car's alternator seems to be going out. So - sick cat, sick car, and sick me :(.

I didn't get much this year. My wife and I are in the middle of a major remodeling job on the house and just don't have much room until the house is finished. My grandsons (1 & 3) got a lot of Thomas stuff though!

I didn't really get anything train related this Christmas, however I did get a nice comfy Dr scoll's back massager for my office chair that I'm using as I speak.
My In-laws gave me some money that I'll be using towards the layout, probably a couple decals sets and detail parts.
I did get a truck load of DVD's though:
Saving Private Ryan
Band of Brothers Box set
Transformers
Flight of the Pheonix
Gone in 60 seconds

I'll be busy in front of the TV for a couple weeks of evenings now...
