Hello, I'm new as you can probably see. Trains are my life. I live, breath, eat, sleep, think, and do just about everything with something involving trains. I don't currently own a model railroad. But I will be starting my modern freelanced shelf layout around christmas. Im a huge union pacific and bnsf fan. I live out here in az close to the up mainline. Which features many different freights and signals, like searchlights and g type signals, just to mention some. Anyways, I hope to meet some great people on these forums and share photos and give and receive helpful information. TRAINS RULE!!!!!!

Welcome! You will find a few of your fellow Arizonians on these boards.

There is a nice variety of Canadian modelers, modern modelers (especially UP), transition era modelers, 19th century modelers, and all sorts of other groups!

I'm a narrow gauge circa 1884 fan...but with interests as recent as the Nickel Plate Road of the late 1940s.

Out AZ way
Welcome to the Gauge forums. Just where are you in Arizona? I'm not that far from the BNSF mainline in Surprise. We've got quite a contingent of Gaugers around the area.

In keeping with Guage traditions, the newbie has to send some of that AZ warm to some of the less fortunate members. sign1

UMMMMM Deano, you forgot the BNSF part hehehehehehehehe.

Deano here is probably the BIGGEST UP fan of all here on the Gauge

I myself am a UP and BNSF fan as well as CNW. I model all 3, well 2 if since UP and CNW are actually UP now lol.

Anyways welcome to the Gauge Taylor. You found the right place to come my friend, everyone here is very nice and everyone loves to help others out and share pictures and advice :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Im right next door to you in California. I see lots of BNSF and UP round here and I have to say, I LOVE IT!!! My favorite LHS is located right on the BSNF mainline that runs thru Yorba Linda from Long Beach up thru the Cajon Pass and I see BNSF and UP lashed up together all the time. Mostly stack trains run thur there coming from the port or heading back to the post with a load of empties.

Look forward to seeing ya around the forums
