Ai, did something like that last February, but I used a chisel making a coat and hat rack from oak.

Lets hope your recover rapidly, so you can use your finger soon again.

actually the jupiter did make an apearance.

I didn't had a idea what "the Jupiter" was so I googeled first.
There are many ships in the background, just like in 1978, but Jupiter one?
That looks more like Dr.Zee's ship.

Merry Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the land, everyone wondered why the BSG thread was so quite.
Too quiet some thought. Hmmmmmmmm.

It has been quiet lately. Sjsquirrel, nothing and skupilkinson, the project team, have been busy of late.
Ah, yes, we all say that don't we? Busy, busy, busy. But, never fear dear friends.
It turns out we have been busy working on a Christmas surprise for you all. Unfortunately, it's not ready :curse:

Our plan was to surprise you with a Christmas present of none other than -
the big gal herself balloon6.

However, life being what it is, I'm only just now finishing up the mesh work. Nothing has done a couple test builds of some sections, and I guarantee that
the final release will be worth the wait.

Here are some sneak previews for you. Enjoy, and look for the finished
product sometime in January.

Merry Christmas to you all from the BSG Ship Pack team,

Nothing, Skupilkinson, and Sjsquirrel.

Carried away?

I may have gotten carried away, but I'm designing with large (3 foot and higher) builds in mind. The inner structure is intended to make it a ship that will survive being played with (in case you want to fly her around the house ) and also to make it easier to get good results.

I thought everyone flew their models around the house, can't wait to get this bird chasing my son with his Millenium Falcon around the house and his mother telling us to grow up sign1sign1(He is 9 and i'm 43)
I wonder how big the Vipers would be for a 3' Galactica:mrgreen::thumb:
P.S. the bigger the better for my chubby little fingers.

Mine is 6, and I'm 48. We get the same kind of comments :thumb:

When Gearz released his original series Galactica, Ekuth (I think) was building a 4 footer with lights and everything. I calculated that Gearz TeenyViper, at 3/4 inch was about the right scale.

I'm not sure how the new series Galactica compares to the original in size, but they seem about the same.

Perhaps someone could repaint Gearz TeenyViper?

Very nice Nothing, those are some smooth looking parts there. I'm glad SJ went for that approach for unfolding them.

This one is going to be awesome.

Happy New Year everyone!!
