They are from last year :thumb: accidentally had the time/date stamp on when I took the beth steel set

The railway is still in use, it's is NS line, there were some Dioxide tanks and centerflow hoppers sitting there when I took the pictures

Note the unprototypical modelling on the second and third tracks from the right: they forgot to stagger the rail joiners. I wonder if they soldered feeders to every piece of rail? ;)

Nice picture, Tom. :thumb:

Josh,

Since it's been about a year now what's your progress, do have a planned layout for the steel mill or at least partial?

I have several hundreds of pictures of Bethlehem Steel and a map of what went where that is huge (looks like it was made in MSpaint) I can sift though the pics and post up what you need

I'm a bit behind in my magazine reading, but the October issue of Railroad Model Craftsman has a picture of a scratchbuilt operating rotary car dumper and an article on scratchbuilding Hulett unloaders, in N scale.

Remember...it's for fun!
I have that issue with the Hulett unloaders, Wayne. I was so amazed by the cover photo I bought the magazine! Not that I have any intention of building any...that would take up some significant real estate, but what an impressive model!

Josh, I like your plan with its divided scenes. Nice way to create two seperate areas of interest!
