Hello!

I just saw a good model of the Battleship Yamato on Digitalnavy's website.
The cd came yesterday and I'm printing out all the sheets to make the full hull model.

exactly how do you do that? I am kinda new to this forum

Great pick for a build!
I have this one too and she is a real beauty!
I can't wait to see some pictures either!
As for getting them into your posts...
The easiest way is to use an off site host, like Image Shack or could upload to our gallery and host from there, but that seems to open a whole other can of worms at the moment..
Then, when you make a post you simply click on the little square with the mountain and sun in it right above the text box.
A window will pop up and you insert the url of the image in the box and click ok.
This inserts the picture into your post, via your host.
The second way is to upload the picture directly from your computer into your post by going under the text box and clicking advanced.
In Advanced mode, there are more options available below the text box if you scroll down.
Scrolling down you will see the second area down is Attach Files and in there, a button that reads, manage attachments.
Click that button and you will go to a page where you can browse your hard drives to the exact file you want to upload and then you just double click it.

Make sure you resize your pictures to a decent forum size before uploading. Something like 600 x 800 is usually good.

Hope all that helps you out a little.

And if none of the above makes sense (no offence intended Russell :p ) you can try this...

How to Attach Pictures to a Post

None taken either!

I love to see members helping other members!

Kudos for you, sir!:thumb:

Actually, I owe you an apology for not making a sticky of your directions in the first place.
I'm very sorry sir. Many apologies.:eek:ops:

Would you like a job?

Looking forward to seeing some pics of this Yamato now (trying my best to stay on topic :p)

Oh and thanks for the sticky!

Thanks!

I don't know whether I should make the full hull or the waterline (even though I said I would), the reason is because I don't want the hull to get dented or ruined.
