Vehicle diorama

I have to admit, I am sort of copying Trucklover on this one, but I also have a great interest in construction vehicles. Probabably from watching and helping my neighbor who has a tank removal service. Well anyway I am building a 2'x2' diorama copying the construction they did well adding an addition to the firestation by my house to show off my trucks that have no home on my layout. Here are various pics of the diorama. It will be busy between the firehouse work and the road construction. Please forgive me Trucklover.

looks great kevin :thumb:.what did you weather that puppy with,powders?--josh

Love that last truck in the last picture of the first post. Matchbox!

I just dry brushed it with accrylics. I had no brown so I mixed some cannary yellow, red and black, who knew that would look like dirt?

I also love that truck, but got it when I was like 6 and I have scince trased it, that was the only angle I coul get a decent pic of the truck, I want to replace it with a GMC General and GHQ lowboy.

Tonight I added some scenery to the vehicle diorama and I am also posting some pics of my firefighting equipment. Tommorow I need to go sift some dirt out of the backyard. But here is the progress and some vehicle shots.

Not much done. on the scenery, I need some dirt, but its frozen solid outside.

Road work is still ongoing, with more gravel being trucked in dailly to create a smooth surface before paving (I know I know, Dirt is what is used for leveling the surface). The first signs of construction on the fire station came today when a general contractor came and looked over the area.
