Mark, I just wanted to start this week’s thread off, because I thought nobody wanted to do it  (and I did not see you already started it yesterday). But you made a great start :thumb:.

Last week I was doing decal works on some of my locos. This is one of them. And yes, I know the number board is crooked. I need to fix that when I get a chance.

Kurt: It's your turn to start one..

Jeffrey: There not crooked, just tilt your head the other way and they look fine!:thumb:

Has anybody seen or heard from Deano or Steve? Haven't seen them post anything for a while now..Do we need to put out an APB on them?:p

Remember...it's for fun!
Thanks for getting us started Chessie, and for the PC/NYC scene! I have got to detail the interiors of a couple of my freight cars. That open NYC box looks great!

Great start to the new wpf thread!:thumb:

Today I had my friend Chris over, and he brought over his On30 and HO stuff to test out on my tracks! I got some good shots of his stuff, I think:

2-6-0 On30 Mogul, this thing is a beast! Chris hadn't run his trains in so long, he didn't know it even worked anymore!

His On30 passenger cars w/ interior lighting

His little On30 critter, an 0-4-0, next to my equivelant, the Athearn Hustler. Chris said his 0-4-0 was like my Hustler, only less dangerous and hostile!sign1

On the left is a just-opened Spectrum tank car and on the right is a gondola, both On30.

Chris' first engine, seems to be an F7

a Walthers Trainline GP9M, HO scale. Chris actualy gave this to me, making it my 7th engine:mrgreen:!

Hi Everybody, this is an old shot I never posted, I was just playing around with the signs I had put in the windows. I wanted to complete the interior and retake photos. I wanted a mirror on the left wall, surrounded by shelves filled with liquor bottles. I thought it would be possible to make bottles from styrene rod, chucked in a motor tool so I could sand a neck. Well, that didn't work, and the project went on what seems like it may be permanent hold!

first comment: holy crud tomkat, those are some great closeups. What kind of camera setup did you use to take those?

Second comment: Just thinking how digital cameras make this weekly photo exhibition possible...

Disaster!

Mark:
"Has anybody seen or heard from Deano or Steve? Haven't seen them post anything for a while now..Do we need to put out an APB on them?:p"

Sorry I haven't been able to post in a while, but....
I've been dealing with a disaster of almost biblical proportions in the area of the Twin River Mining Co.:winker:

These pictures should explain it better than I ever could:cry::

A beautiful day.......no hint of the impending DOOM!

The next moment.......it was all gone!!!!!

Officials now believe that they have discovered the cause of the total collapse of the geological formations in this area:
photos005.jpg

As this photo reveals...what was once thought to be "natural land formations" (mountains) were really nothing more than a huge man-made land fill! In this exclusive photo, the cross-section reveals that the "mountains" were made of old newspaper, cardboard, foamboard, plaster, and other refuse.....oh yeah...this photo also proves that the Earth, is in fact, flat and you can fall off the edge!
