Full pond is good. Has not run out the spillway since late April. Was down 5 feet. I'm lucky. My pond [3 acres] is 20 feet deep and 12 to 16 in a large portion. Still had plenty of water. Some here were mud puddles and lost fish. Mine had tall grass growing in the empty shallows and up the bank to the normal level edge. Grass carp are going ot gorge themselves now.

Ok - i get it now... "Water in the pond" ~~ Good

"Water on streets" ~~ BAD!!:eek::eek::eek:

sign1 3 acre pond???? in these Nawthern parts - dat would be a lake!! :D :D My entire property: House, tiny yards (Front & back) sits on about 1/3 acre....

Glad it's full and turning healthy again :) :)

OH forgot. The advar for Dr. John, perfect likeness.

Yeah, it got my good side, didn't it?

Tired, spent a lot of time helping with that block party. Just got back from picking up younger daughter. She went with my brother in law and my niece and nephew to watch the Auburn-Ole Miss game. Good night, all!

Are we sure that Chief Eagles isn't really a G Scale figurine or something? That sounds like one massive pond to me- more like a lake!!

Good Morning........
It is cold outside. Sunshine today.
Picked up the wife last night from airport. She was out of town on business. Good to have her home. She will sleep late today.
Now to get back to normal.
See ya later,
Chuck

Morning all. Glad to see all the posts on the good Coffee Pot. "The other one" needs a good shot of white vinegar. [some will understand what I mean] Sunny and chilly [53 degrees]. But what do you expect for the last of Oct. Been summer too long. Leaves haven't even turned good yet [unless dead from drought]. Just a few. Chuck will behave now. Ms. Blueberry will keep him and the pets in line. Hope all have a great week ahead. Lionel Big Boy is suppose to come in this week. :thumb: Later

Good evening guys, It's been almost a month since I posted here. Been very busy. Hello to all the guys from CTT, looks like a migration in starting. Where's Spanky Bird? I wondered where Dr. John has been hanging out.

Oh, and I did miss the great looking breakfasts each morning.

Chief, I moved the tender hanging baskets and some house plants that I was baby sitting for a friend into the greenhouse. Unless the wind suddenly settles I don't think we will get frost tonight, but taking no chances.

Here are a couple of pics of the Bucyrus Steam Shovel that I picked up at York.

Gorgeous crane that....!! What's at the "rear" end that needs for it to be "opened"...I thought those Bucyrus cranes were built in Ohio...

You knew I would finally track you down. You can run but you can't hide.

I think white vinegar maybe a little mild. Turpentine may turn the tide.

Bucyrus cranes were made in Ohio....in Bucyrus, Ohio. (Pronounced bucky-rust)

That is where the fireman stood to feed the firebox, see door in picture.
