I'd make it a little smaller, first the scrolling to the right is a pain, and it throws off looking at other posts in the thread. Secondly (and fortunately this doesn't apply to me right now) it makes it huge for dial up. I think 10% would do it. You could always put in a link to a full sized pic.

I'd make it a bit smaller, i'm on a 15inch laptop screen.

If i was to use it on a 800x600 screen, i'd have trouble reading it.

Good Consideration though

BTW, you coluld just do what i do, and post links to the required data. that keeps everyone happy

Links and thumbnails....
For me that's the other end of the spectrum. Personally, I usually don't click on links or thumbnails unless the thumbnail looks exceptional. Simply because I'm impatient. If it does not pop up on the screen immediately, I move on. I don't like taking the time to click here to see who knows what, then expand the window to see the whole thing and finally close the window and return to the thread.

It scrolls about an inch for me. I set my browser to be wide enough to display espn without any of the grey sides and no scroll bar on the bottom, so wider than that will scroll. However, if I maximize my window that picture easily fits in my 1280x1024 screen. At work, I actually have a dual screen system so it is 2560x1024 so I have NEVER seen a web page that is too wide. But I like it when pages stay espn width or less.

I have dual screens also but I usually keep my main work window on the left side and all the toolbars on the right screen. Often I'll be working in two applications simulataneously and so will have one open on each screen. My Internet Explorer also just updated itself a short while ago so that I have nothing down the left edge anymore (favorites, history, bookmarks) hence cleaning up my screen and making my web pages wider expanding my ability to view larger pictures.
