Good evening guys, It's been a while since I checked into the coffee Pot. Hope everyone is doing well. I haven't been doing a lot of training, been to busy with other things. And now I just started building my 3rd dollhouse. This one for a soon to be 7 year old granddaughter.

Not much happening today for me. Got everything moved downstairs onto the new workbench (an old bistro table which was suposed to be used for poker, but has been sitting abandoned for a few years). The Microslace decals should come in today or tomorow, so the final phases of basic detailing the Hustler should be able to begin.

Good morning folks
It was a little hotter and more humid than I expected last night at football practice. Today it is supposed to be 82 F. Right now it is 67 F. Everyone in the house the last few days has been experiencing allergy issues. Apparently the Philadelphia area right now is one of the worst areas for weed pollen. It is getting so bad that my wife is beginning to have asthma problems as the pollen is making her super sensitive.
No modeling last night. I got home a little late from work and since it was the first day of school I spent a large amount of time discussing it with the kids. My son had football practice last and we thought we were going to be off tonight but we now have to go and get his photo taken for his league ID card. Apparently his teams ID cards were either stolen or mis-placed and now the whole team has to get them redone. The place we have to go will take me about a half an hour to 45 minutes to get to in rush hour traffic tonight. We are supposed to be there at 6 PM and I don’t expect to get home until 8 PM. It will be a long night.
Mikey, it so cool that the Sun Center is hosting the Greenberg Show. That place has been a big part of my life. I attended various sports banquets, and played in basketball tournaments there. My high school graduation ceremony was held there. My daughter was supposed to play fall basketball there until the league got canceled because they did not have enough teams.

Evening. Just got to post. Was going to work on layout this AM. Got call early and had to dress for TV interview. This was followed by another. Lots of phone calls and emails. I helped the County Commissioners yesterday in stopping Wake County Schools from buying a plot of property at 150% of market value. Seems a lot of folks are appreciative of the effort to save tax payers' money. Finally got to work on layout at 4:30. Got all my Soundstop is down and the layout is leveled. Now to install the remaining track. Off to Mom's down east tomorrow. Later

The temperatures are slowly creeping upwards. Today it is supposed to be going up to 87 F and steadily rising through the weekend. It was 66 F with almost 90% humidity when I left the house this morning. We need some rain to beat down the allergens and also to help the wilting plants. The wife’s allergy/asthma problems were somewhat less overnight and this morning. I thought we were heading to the ER yesterday morning.
No modeling last night. I spent two hours last night with my son and his football team in line to get their ID’s redone since the teams’ original ID’s were either lost or stolen. The general conciseness among the parents is that the person in charge lost them. Considering where one of the books was found the belief is she left them on the roof or trunk of her car and then drove off. Since she knew they were lost Tuesday night and did not tell anyone until after Thursday night’s practice her story about them being stolen from her bag during practice is getting harder to believe. Sorry for the rant but evenings off at this time of year are rare and cherished and having to give up one because of someone’s stupidity is annoying.

Hi all busy week here, tring to get everything done for fall....son is coming home tomorrow, he has finished his hitch in the Navy! He may jion the Army now.....he has some silly idea about jumping out of air craft......

Hey John...Good to see you around here..Speaking of grandaughters- my eldest son is gonna get me one..!!! Probably end of this month, or thereabouts. Hope she's as lovely as yours (I remember seeing a picture of both of them running your trains..).

It was a 73 F as I pulled out of the driveway this morning. The high is supposed to be 88 F today and the humidity is going to increase. Tomorrow will be in the nineties with high humidity. It is supposed to be hot and humid through the weekend.
No modeling last night. This is becoming a disturbing trend.
This weekend will be a busy one. We have the grocery store torture session to endure. My son has his first regular season football game as the Drexel Hill Raiders Midgets JV Silver will visit the Clifton Heights Rams. I have no idea how good or bad his team is this year. It is a mix of players from his team last year, the Pee Wee JV that moved up, and some players that have never played before. On Sunday we may attend the reenactment of the Battle of Brandywine.
On the work bench I have wheels to finish weathering along with 11 hoppers. On the layout I would like to work on placing foliage on the ridge behind the Farm House Area.
