Out AZ way
Got a question that might surprise you, but what the heck is this all about anyway? What are the ground rules, how is it organized? There's lots of people that haven't even heard of fantasy football, and there are those of us that have heard about it, but hesitate to get involved because we don't have the foggiest idea of what's involved, and what does the outcome depend on? How time consuming is it?

Perhaps if others knew, there might be more than six people willing to play. When I hear the word "fantasy", I immediately think of me in a huge house overlooking the Riviera, playing baccarat with James Bond, dining on exotic and sumptuous foods and driving my Lamborghini to visit this exquisite harem that will feed me grapes as I lie on a couch.  Uhhhh, not that kind of fantasy huh?sign1 sign1

Anyway, it might be too late for this season's play, but for the future, it would be nice to know.

Easy one LOL

Each league has between 4 and 12 teams....

You draft a team from all available NFL players... SO your team will have different players from all different teams....

Once the draft takes place (Computer draft) your team has all it's players on a list - you go in and change the players setting up who YOU want to play every position on the field...

Then the computer matches your team against another team.. As above and our 2 teams play against each other...

Points are given for every position on the football field.. the better your players do - the more points they get... Team with the most points in the match-up wins the week....

It's a neat diversion, that Rich M. suggested we try - about 4 years ago - we all like it.. it's not time consuming and it is fun :)

I can start another league in the next few days if we can get 4 or more members right away (Before Tuesday) but it has to be an even number of players.
