For my little hustler, I have created a paint scheme for it, and I hope to begin the base coat soon. Here's the scheme done up in paint:

Nice work everyone,
I had some fun too: I visited Exporail in the Montreal Area.
Impressive Royal Hudson.

Nice shots guys!

Biased turkey-nice vatage shots! However, I thought 2850 was still running, or are my sources outdated?

MadHatter- Well, thank you! Here's a progress pic:

I only got one so-so pic, the stupid camera didn't last for a minute and yet had at least 12 hours to charge!

Anyways, keep the pics comin guys!

P.S. the motor in the backround of the pic is the Hustler's guts, if any of you wanted a look at it

To CNWman:
Obviously, as you can see on the picture, your sources are outdated.

sign1yeah, or there's another Hudson that looks like that still running, there was a recent special on it, I think. Maybe I got 2850 from the little BRIO train I had? I dunno...

As for me, I have finished putting on the paintjob for my Hustler, I will post a pic later if possible.

Keep 'em comin, folks!

With the information you gave, I can deduce that you are at least 2 years old: From the BRIO website:
[FONT=Kids-Plain.]the BRIO Wooden Railway System® appeals to generation after generation. Ages 2+

At least now I know what BRIO toys are ( I've never herad of that brand name before )

If my memory is correct, there was not 1 but 2 Royal Hudson assigned to the Royal trip, 2850 and 2851. Being stuck with a broken engine in the middle of Manitoba wouldn't have been fun for the Royal couple.
Both engines performerd flawlessly.
