No, actually as N Gauger says, it's something inherent in the software. I you have registered and haven't posted yet, there is another greeting message reminding you that you have yet to post. Those are the only two that I know about. They don't pop-up, they're just on the first window when you log on so they can't be too annoying.

Remember, when we moved here, Peter upgraded our software and even he wasn't aware of some of the new features and things that happen. Some of it was a surprise to all of us and we're still finding new things.
