Train "boneyard"

There's a series on the History channel regarding boneyards. I've seen them on planes and other things, but this Sunday the show is on trains. If you get the History Channel, look up "Boneyards" on Sunday night. I'm in Arizona and it's on at 8 PM. It could be on at a different time in your area.

Yup, I already saw it, it was on Thursday Nite at 10:00 pm, it was pretty cool. Glad its on again on Sunday, I didnt watch the whole thing cause I fell asleep :eek:ops: :eek: sign1

My TV guide says:

Boneyard Sunday Night 11:00 PM

RAILROADS: (2007) Trains and what happens to them when they reach the "end of the line" -- Included; the dismantling of trains for use as scrap and train restoration. -- Also the uses of all the parts of the entire railway system including rails and ties.

Nahhh, it was pretty neat. I usually find out about these shows after they have aired but it seems I am ahead of the game on this one. They even showed a little on restoration and the expensive efforts of refurbishment.

Makes you wonder what images are conjured up if you mention a phonograph....​

There's nothing quite like winding up our family's original Edison phonograph, and listening to cylinders cut 100 years ago. :thumb:
