announce1AWESOME!!! Very nice!!!! From what I have seen you have the best collection of scale modern trucking equipment I have seen!!! :thumb:

I wish I was doing HO because there is a much better selection...

Great weathering on the trailers.

Thanks Indy for the very kind words

Couldn't even tell you how many Trucks and Trailers I have, last time I counted tho it was over 500 and now it is well over that now

There is a way better selection for trucks let alone vehicles in HO scale but Athearn, Atlas, and Delux-Innovations make some pretty nice trucks and trailers in N scale (if that is the scale you are doing) and also Con-Cor made some decent trailers that with a lil work to them would look just fine on the layout. GHQ also makes some really nice cabs in N scale and they have some awesome construction equipment to.

I believe you when you say,

I drive a semi and it is amazing how bad the condition of trailers can get!

Cause I see some of these trailers on the roads and freeways that look like there just about ready to crumble   Its a wonder they continue to even put goods in them.

Yeah. I have a Con-cor Schneider National(who I started driving for) and Roadway tractor and trailer, and then I have 5 Atlas trailers in SWIFT, EXTRA, and BNSF. I saw at our LHS that they have Athearn Roadway Mack tractors with 36' Pup trailers that look pretty cool. They also have Deluxe container chassis and also the container to match them.. Those couple of items are on my list of upcoming purchases! :thumb:

I thought the vehicle fans might like to see the trucks at the very least.
Enjoy!

I have yet to start buying trucks in N scale mostly because I am doing my steel mill in N scale and thats it for now. I do want to also do a large warehouse building (make my own using the NU-LINE Structures kits) so I will need some trucks for that :yep::-D I plan on getting some Delux-Innovations trailers, they are really really nice and also some of those continer chassis and prolly some containers to.

Those Atlas trailers dont look to bad either from your pic, I ll have to consider those to, I really want to get some Athearn trailers tho in N scale, there HO trailers are OUTSTOUNDING and there N trailers have to be good to.

The Athearn Roadway trailers are 28' pups, not 36' pups, and they have lots of companies, includeing the same ones as HO like USF, OVERNITE, Roadway and Roadway Express, Yellow Frieght..... and they have them just as double trailer sets or double trailer sets with the Mack cabs :-D

This thread seems as good as any otherfor my question. I want a beavertail trailer and I know Custom Fnishing makes one but it doesnt look like the most impressive model. I woul like to see if any body has a pic of one, possibly after being detailed. My main dislike is the ramp setup. This is a very small picture but is what I am looking for.

Similar, but with a sloping ramp in the rear, with folding ramps that fold onto the trailer here is a picture of one with the ramps in the op position.

I think there is 48 pics in that one..it took longer to take the pics than it did to put the movie together...had a lot of fun making it though..
