I didn't calculate for roadbed :(. How else could i apply ballast to track that is on woodland's scenic risers? If it isn't possible, what do i do now?

I tried tapering the end of the foam roadbed heheh... it looked like i was hungry and decided it was a tasty snack. Tempted to try the same w/ cork.

Pretend you have a logging line. A lot of them didn't have what could be called roadbed. They just scraped the ground flat and threw down the ties and spiked on the rail. Thats not too prototypical of a modern railroad unless you are in a yard or siding that gets light usage.
I assume that you have the track down?? If not, you should be able to add the roadbed over the entire layout without changing the grades. The only place you might have a problem is with tunnel height. Beyond that, you may have to carefully take up the track and add roadbed.

I'm adding a new section and some of the track is glued down and some isnt. I'll see if i can use the starter lip of the scenic riser to even out the section where the roadbed starts.

This is fun :). I am really enjoying myself heheh.

I'd say rip it up and add some roadbed, but, if not, flat roadbed is fine, just a short line...
