Interesting... no two are alike in details. I like the look of the high walkway over the air tank (?) and pumps on 5626 and 5107.

hi loren and triplex---thanks for responding.Even though 5107,5303,and 5626 were all products of the montreal locomotive works, they all have very unique features.#5588 was built by the grand truck railroad in 1910 at their Pointe St. Charles Shops in Montreal. Here's a couple more head -end shots showing the classic cn features as well as individual differences

This is what I love about steam engines, no two are ever exactly the same. They're almost like living things. I like 5626, it has the look of a hard working engine. Who made these models or are they custom built?

hi kanawha---i agree with you 100%---all locomotives are brass imports---5588 and 5626 from overland models,5107 is from VAN Hobbies PFM,and 5303 is from Division Point North---here's the final shot as i don't want to wear out my welcome---thanks for your responses

Good stuff nutbar. Pacifics are a great locomotive in general, to my eye - they have a nice balanced look, whether high or low drivered.

There all really nice looking , hard to pick a favorite without running them on MY layout sign1 , any chance at that happening? Are they DCC ?
