Back and up to my old tricks

:wave:A popup says I have not posted for ages so here goes, after returing from Canada and after having had the grim task of dismatling Mathro's layout I have had no urge to indulge in model making except to lurk on The Gauge
I belong to a group of modelers who meet once a month to display their layouts,conduct wrkshops and and talk model railways
Yesterday we had an all day fun day ,lots of competitions. I entered a Diarama and came away with a prize. so here it is:thumb:

Good to see you back Jimmy. I went into that same funk following Robin's passing. Haven't done any building since. I do hang out here and seem to be ready to get on with the hobby.

wow,nice diorama now try getting a whole layout that detailed! :D
now,this is going to sound very out of place or possibly offensive but.your talking of mathryo which i have looked at all his threads in the academy.his layout was AWESOME so what happened to it.the best way i could see to remember him would be to display it to show how much he accomplished.sorry for bringing this up its just bothered me for a while.sorry if i offended anyone,i will remove this if it is a problem.--josh
 
Well thanks to all for the welcome back ,Josh look back to some of my posts to see how Robins lay out was spread around the world.also some pictures of my layout which is also a large L shaped DIARAMA which is not as yet finnished,now that I have got over that mental block I am keen to continue ,more post will follow thats a promise

Don't feel like you offended anyone... By mentioning his name, you let those of us who were here with him, remember him... :D

im glad i didnt offend anyone.robin and you built some amazing stuff!i really wish i joined soon enough to see his amazing cardboard creations.its also nice to know that this amazing work eneded up in the hands of someone that would take carte of it and remember him.thanks for the info.--josh

His creations are still here in the Academy. Take a look at "Robin at his Best".
