Herc:wav: , did you know the Gallery here is now open, you can place your pics bigger then you posted on here using that, OR i have been posting them from my photo-bucket account, OR you can upload them as an attachment JUST AS WE HAVE DONE IN THE PAST. uploading them as an attachment makes them appear as a kinda large thumbnail, and if you click on it, it will make the pick bigger. the KEY to doing the attached pic is :ANYWORD: IT HAS TO BE A .JPG , NOT A .JPEG :eeki: :winki: . if your pic is a .jpeg, it will be restricted to the size of 19.5kb:eeki: , if the pic is a .jpg it can be as large as 195.3kb:eeki:  , this is a HUGE improvement from the "old Gauge" (old Gauge max file size was 68kb). if your pics are in the format of .jpeg , you can convert them to .jpg by saving it to your computer, when the save box opens, it will have a box that says: "file type" click the arrow and scroll down to .jpg , then hit save:up: .
i hope this helps:smilie: -Deano

As usual, excellent shots by all.:thumb: :thumb:
Here's a picture that, for some reason, I am unable to place in my Gallery Album. It, like all of the others, is on a cd, and the pictures before and after it are in the Gallery, but this one will not post. This offering is from photobucket, which seemed to have no problem taking it.

The sign is a speed limit sign. The upper number is for trains with passenger cars in the consist, and the 15 is for freight trains. Usually the top number is a higher value, but the sharp curves here aren't suited to 80' cars, hence the 10 mph limit. This track was part of the mainline at one time, but funtions now only as a wye, for turning cars or locos.
Here's a loco backing into the wye:

And coming out on the other leg, running in the opposite direction:
100_5522.JPG

The track in the foreground is a siding - the track in front of the operator's tower is the mainline. In the first photo, you can see the tail track beneath the bridge. It ends at the wall, which is a corner of the room.
Here's an over view of the area:

Actually, when I was composing, I think that I hit the wrong key, accidently posting before it was done. I then hit "Edit", finished my message, and reposted. Don't know why two posts showed up, but when I just now went to remove one of them, it instead posted yet another. I think that both of the extra ones are gone now, but I'm scared to look!

Great Pictures everyone! I love this thread. DoctorWayne and TomPM, love your layouts. Deano, great UP's as always. Chessie4155, great layout and trains! Spankybird, love the racecars! Sorry if I missed anyone, everyone in this thread has great pictures.

I am finally starting to build models to add to the club layout. I won three buildings on ebay, I picked the easiest of the buildings to build and here it is; it still needs to be weathered to fit it, but I am happy with it. I'm sure the minicooper is out of timeframe, but as the layout is at my house, the layout runs the era of trains running on tracks, so anything goes.
