I guess I'll get to start this week off.
Here's a Sperry Rail Car out testing. Operators hate these cars and are always glad to see them leave their Division.

Like so many, I'll be busy much of this weekend, so I'll drop something in early too. Here's a shot of camelback #293 doing some switching at American Tool & Die in Putney, NY. Meanwhile, out on the main, one of the company's new-fangled RS-1 diesels rumbles by with a freight drag.

Mark, who makes this rail car? I haven’t seen it before anywhere.
CNJ999, your shots are awesome.
Deano, nice new engine and a very good tutorial :thumb:

Nothing special from me this week, only a shot of my GP7. I have to start working on my scenery again to get some new scenes to take pictures of.

Deano: nice pic..looking forward to seeing your GP35 all detailed up.
CNJ999: Another excellent pic.
Ralph: nice lookin Cadillac.
Here's a shot of Westbound Coal Cars, Extra 3545. I found out that Chessie System called their loaded coal trains Coal Drags and emptys were called Coal Cars.

*******************************************************

Its Saturday, so i went to dads:mrgreen: , it was nasty out, and raining, so my plans to get some rail fanning pics was shot:( . we didn't work on the layout, instead we watched "trains of the Midwest", it had WSOR, CN, and UP:mrgreen: in it:up: . the only constructive thing i done was put some details on some of dads engines, you know, plows, sunshades, antennas, AC unit, radio platforms and equipment.

PICTURED BELOW is dads SF GP60 i added some details too:up: . The second pic is MY CNW RS32, pictured on dads layout. -Deano

Sorry guys...I've wanted to participate in these threads but I can't figure out how upload a picture to this new website. I can't get Adobe Photoshop to compress and save an image at the restricive 19.5 kb. Are all the pictures I'm viewing on this thread being uploaded from another photography/storage website?

Herc:wav: , you do it the same as you have always done it:up: . the only difference is the site now accepts LARGER PICS:up: . upload a .jpg(NOT a .jpeg) just like you ALWAYS HAVE, the difference is it used to be max file size of 68kb, NOW it can be 195.3kb!!! BIG IMPROVEMENT! -Deano

I think what he's saying is his images are too big to post, they're not compressing.

Herc, try IrfanView to resize, and compress the Jpeg to 70%. Though personaly I use ScaleRailsOnline.com to host mine because their photo server is set to resize to 640x480. I use them for here & there, elsewhere I'm able to host larger 1024x768 images...

New unit...UP's SD90/43MAC

Newly aquired muscle for the Carolina hills when trackage rights are utilized under the existing Norfolk Southern/Ballantyne Division Agreement. The locals think UP is just showing off.

Yeah Deano - my SD90 (8242) is a Kato too and runs well. Really a trick to get the hand rails on though...wish they were pre-installed as it took great patience to get them correctly in place.
