Living Room table layout

To reduce photos to a manageable size, I use a small program named Irfanview (hey, I didn't name it!). You can quickly load, resize, and save a photo before Photoshop finishes loading. It also has a much shallower learning curve.

I'm gonna miss that table but now I get to do another one!

That was a nice table even before you put a train in it.
I would have asked for more than 2K for it.
Tables like that are selling for 3-4K on the net.

well, he could go back and edit his earlier posts... Just editting and saving ougth to fix the pixilation problem.

Not that I mind, with the pixilation, my layout actually looks better. :D

Actually, if you click on the pics they open up clear. They got pixelated in the posts because the thumbnail size was increased after the switch to the new forum.

TrainNut,

I would love to do a table like that!

I just got back to the smaller scales after many years.

I assume that your table is N scale?

I just got involved with Z scale for the first time, and for the size, the detail is incredible!

Is that table still available in the price club? And what is the appox size?

Yep. N scale. I dabble a little in all the different scales but the majority of my collection is N.
I have not seen that table available at Costco since I bought this one. I searched and searched but could not find the manufacturer or another table even similar to it.
The table is 3'3.5"x 2'4.25" with the layout inside occuping 2'10.75"x1'11.5".
Z scale always intrigued but I could not seem to get past the price. I'd love to put a z scale layout in a table someday though.

Have at it!! Feel free to ask any questions you want and I'll do the best to answer them. Right up front, my advice to you would be to find a table that is large enough to handle the smallest radius track you will be using as well as finding a table that will be deep enough to accomodate the type of scenery you hope to accomplish. I always wished that I had found a table with a drawer to hide the power pack inside of. Instead, I velcroed it to the bottom.
