Very nice stuff folks. You sure do make it difficult on us newbies.wall1
Joe

We all started out as "Newbies" and after years of "trying new stuff" we got to where we are.... and a lot of us still can improve on some aspects of our modeling :) :)

Keep using our ideas, keep honing your skills and you'll be there too....

Note - I said "there" .. I'm one of the ones that could use a LOT of improvement on my weathering and detailing... These guys are good!!!!

Heres my four cents. The Warbonnet painting will always be remembered in the railroad world. One of the few differences in the Dash 8 and Dash 9 locomotives, the nose hand rails. one of my dirty Snoots. And one of my favorite locomotives, an SD40-2 that I am detailing. Ive added sunshades, nose grab iron, MU cable, umm, I think thats it

Heres a few more pictures. I love the Bachmann Dash 8s because when they are MUed together, they are REALLY close to each other. And I like the fact that I was able to modify the front nose handrails and make them be free standing. Also, I love the SD75M and another shot of a couple of the details I have added to the SD40-2.

It SURELY does Deano!Great looking engine, although I'd like it all the more if it was the "Twin Cities Zephyr".Still, all in all a not too shabby contribution to the BNSF thread.:thumb:
