Accordring to this website, the original was made from a Lincoln-Ford Concept car named the "Futura".

Later versions of the car were built from 65-66 Ford Galaxie Convertables..

Tom, i like the "original" Batman car you have there the best:up: . (did you know the "original Batcar" was made from a Ford Futura:up: being a Ford man, i thought that was pretty cool;)
Don't you just love it when you can say "i told you folks";) :p  msowson:wav: , THANKS for posting the pics!

i have a couple NEW shots taken last night on my NEW layout:up: ...well, the first shot is really just a pic of my GP7, not much scenery to be seen:119: . the second pic has my MP15DC pulling a box across the road. i still need to put the crossings up, and the road needs weathering badly:eek:ops: .

KEEP 'EM COMING FOLKS! -Deano

Deano: Fantastic shots..Good looking geep..
Here's a tired old dirty L&N local heading home, caught them just as they were crossing the road at the old general store.

I'm very busy this week-end.
1)My tracks are painted and soldered. I did some trials with the roadbed because I had to trim it. Then I tested the DAP caulking.
Roadbed.jpg

After that I tested the DC wiring. My layout will heve 4 different sections.

Then I brewed some Pale Ale

That beer will be shipped from my brewery to all the thirsty members of "The Gauge" by the "Malt Pacific railroad" ( MPR ).

Have to plug my custom paint work this week. I do this as a side job, so if you want it, I can do it...

Good progress on the track! I like your industry!

Josh
Good looking loco!

Deano
More neat looking locos!

I thought by now I would have something posted, but no. I did a photo and video session last night. Uploaded the pictures and found the ones with the black loco and gondolas were out of focus. I uploaded the video. I did 3 runs. They looked great:-D but…. At the end of the first one you could hear the kids talking upstairs and the dogs barking, second one you could hear the TV upstairs, and on the third one you can hear the floor boards creaking as someone is walking right above the layout.hamr wall1

Biased Turkey: Glad to see some progress on your layout. Neat idea for your Railroad name! hic! oops!
Jbaakko; nice pics
Deano: That AC6000 loooks like one BIG engin. Love the shot of your Dads' GP40. My favorite kind of engine.
Tom: Come on, get with it. just kidding. It's just not the same not seeing shots of your fantastic layout and trains.
Here's a shot of Local 3551 East, just coming off the bridge at Quicks Cut.

Does the week-end being over mean we have to...

My new road came out pretty good (can't tell from that angle though!), but I'm even happier with keeping my little people safe.

Thanks guys!

I can't take credit for the CP gon. It is a friend's, who did the weathering, from another forum where I participate in a car interchange. We each send a car in the interchange. Over the time of the interchange we have the various cars of the participants visit our layouts and at the end you get your car back.

Thanks to all the members who encouraged me for the ( small ) progress on my layout an for the brew.
It's a small progress but I find it a lot more enjoyable now to be able to control 2 engines on my layout using several electrical blocks, even if I cannot run both engines at the same time.
