EZ...If you still happen to be monitoring this particular thread, be advised that on the opening screen for The Gauge, at the top where you have The Gauge Photo of the Day, as well as at the bottom of the page, where the image of this month's photo contest winner is supposed to appear, all I see are the little boxes with the red X's. Is this perhaps just me alone again, something I'm not doing right, or a sign of a wider problem?

Until Peter gets the Gallery in order, we're going to have lots of the red X's all over the place. He's working on it.

BTW, I took the liberty of deleting those extra posts of yours. After the duplicate pictures were gone, the posts had no meaning anymore.

Weathered engines

i would put this in the "weathered engines" catagory. NO "magic" used, just a plain shot of one of my weathered engines:).

Hey Don, when does this contest end? I have 2 rolling mills on order with Mike at Fifer Hobby but they are not in yet and they are supposed to be on there way to his shop but he does not know for sure when he will get them. I think that I will have them by the end of the month.

Just wondering when the contest closes since it started late this month

Think my question slipped by you Don, since this is a April/May contest, does the contest end the last day of May?

BTW, Deano, that UP engine LOOKS AMAZING!!!!!

Sorry about that, with all that's been going on here, we've had a slip up or two.:eek:ops: But, if you look at the first post in this thread, you will see that the contest does indeed end on May 31st.

Canada, eh?
Here's my entry in the "Fairly large locomotives that you hardly ever use, mainly because they don't run that well, crossing a bridge" contest. The loco is a modified Bachmann Northern, with a kitbashed tender.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and stretch the "Name Your Own Contest" theme a bit.

"Best Pop Art Representation of Gritty Urban Train Station"

I'd have to go with Wayne on this with his "Fairly large locomotives that you hardly ever use, mainly because they don't run that well, crossing a bridge". I also have an old Bachmann Northern. They look pretty good, but run like grim death. ....Rats, no bridge though :( lol
