When were you born?

This might be easier to keep a running tally of how old our members are for the next few years. :D :D

What about 1985 to 1990? And the other ranges are overlapping, which is not very accurate. Cool poll though.

This is worthwhile. It is nice to know the general demographic you are talking to, although it probably varies from section to section.

I subscribe to the idea that folks should feel free to reply to threads they enjoy participating in and perhaps might simply ignore those they do not.

Ralph, well said.

TruckLover, I feel better, I'm not the only one left out of this poll. :D

I can see how the author could easily miss a number set with that many. I took a class in computer programming, and man, there are a lot of numbers in some programs, and the littlest thing will make a crash. :D

I knew that I'd leave something out. :eek:ops: :eek:ops: :eek:ops:  :D

If anyone knows how to edit a poll let me know and I'll fix it.

As far as the overlapping years, just mark the one that fits best. (were you born before or after July?) There ain't nuthin scientifical bout this here thing after all nohow. :D :D :D

OK, I added "1985 - 90" for you. It's not in sequence, but if I squeezed it in, it would throw off the poll, so take it as it is...:D

You know one of the other forums I go to has a cool icon for beating a dead horse...

Only this horse is not dead; it's a dynamic distribution which may change over several
years (the point of the new poll)! I hope you entered your data regardless of whether
this interests you, as we would like to include everyone!:thumb:

Actually, maybe we could make that one of the categories: there are lots of mornings when I feel like a dead horse. :D :D

So, is it too late to point out that this poll has a bit of a problem? That is, you have overlapping years. Example: 1945 is covered both by 1940 - 1945 and 1945 - 1950. What's someone born in 1945 to do? Most, if not all the five year groupings seem to have this problem.

I think we need to scratch this poll and do it all over again. I'll volunteer to go over to my neighbors and scrounge up a another dead horse. :D:D:D:D sign1
