Lately, when I have been here (on Zealot), my cat (Waffles) has decided to join me by lying on my side with his head on my laptop (as if he was monitoring what I am looking at). So I decided to share a photo of him doing just that.

Waffle's monitoring.jpg

He will even get up on the table to watch me as I work on a project!

well... cats are stalkers... I mean lurkers. I can just see the reaction it would get when it decides to Pounce one here with a build thread :). That is something I would like to see. I wonder what subject it would choose to build... a Tuna from Cannon maybe. :)

Is he a Tiger cat? I love those markings. Mine are both solid black. I adopted the Female Mom and her kid, and he was twice her size. It was Halloween, and people won't adopt black cats as they are superstitious. These cats are excellent, and are part of our family. I adopted a Corgi-Piranha mix, he was so violent, he had that 50 yard stare. He came from a dog farm in Georgia, this place in Connecticut will not put a animal down unless it's terminally ill and suffering. I adopted the dog, the first day he shredded my finger. I made him taste my finger for a half hour before I took it out of his mouth, but the whole time just talked to him, I did not reprimand him. He has been glued to my side ever since. That was 5 years ago. This place requires that you have a reference from your Veterinarian, and he costs $265. Neutered, up to date with all shots, and a chip implanted in him, should he get lost, or run away, as he is a dog after all. I should have named him Spud, because he loves to sit and watch T.V., he is a couch potato. He is totally at peace, but hates humans, except for animal people which he picks up right away. Once your in my house however, he stops barking, and mellows out. If he doesn't, I am suspicious of that person.

Pets are people too, just different kind. Some pets you have to eat occasionally, like chickens and fish, but that's nothing man hasn't done to man. Cute cats. Cats are very intelligence. My last three lived 25, years, 23 years, and 17 years, respectively. Completely trained, obeyed my words than any dog I have had, they are smart enough to think "No, I know what you're saying, I don't feel like doing that'. Dogs always want your attention. That's good too. My dog hates the car, but loves the motorhome. Not much different fro me in that respect. I wonder how he will react when I take him for a ride in my M.G. when I finally finish it.

Great pic, need a face shot though!! :)

Are you kidding Z...... he's going to love the MG.... I don't know of any dog that doesn't like ridding in a car with the wind blowing in its face. Just git a bib for the slobber. :) Its just when the windows are rolled up that most dogs have a problem.
Dogs see the world through there sense of smell, if the window is up.... they can only smell the car... and very little of the out side. It would be like you covering your eyes and ears and trying to go to the store. Most people would be lost when they stepped out of there house if they did that.

Thank you guys. Waffles is a funny cat. Every time someone would open a can (regardless of what it is), he would come in the kitchen and beg for what is being opened. :sticktongue:

Waffles!! That is a great name. My 25 year old cat was named Carlisle as in "Kitty", the old actress ), the 23 year old, the most trained cat I have ever seen or owned, was named Rambette (Rambunctious, Rambo-like), and her daughter was named Abby. I love that name, "Waffles"!! :)

I think he'll like it too, I have a real dog seat belt set up, so he'll be as safe as anyone could be in a "Midget". My Dalmatian Jesse, he lived 16 years, loved car rides, he could keep his head out the window all the time, he also liked sitting in my sidecar rig, I should have never sold that sidecar, I really regret that. I had a Chihuahua, Nicky, she lived 16 years also, she loved getting in my jacket and going for motorcycle rides. She would retreat back in every once in a while, then pop back out when I revved up the engine. I truly think she liked the sound and acceleration, she never shook, and when I put on my motorcycle gear, she would run up to me, and I knew she wanted to come with me. I only took her only on 20 minutes or less rides, I was terrified that she might get hurt if I went down. I had to balance that with giving her the experience. She logged quite a few hours with me. :)
