here is one of the landing modules, i cut out the windows, UHUo2 said to use Scotch tape to make the glossy. My tale was too dull but i have some clear shipping tape that i used, and then i thought (DUHH) why didn't i use it on the solar panels? i will from now on though. You can see on how nice and "shiney" they are. i'm going t do 1 Hab a day , so as i don't screw up anything along the way

i know, loved the movie also. the detail is so... cant think of the right words but you know what i mean. ok, got more pic's of whats been done. i went and put tape on all of the windows and panels and compleated a few more pods. all of you were right when you said that his lines are TIGHT, and everything fits perfect.

Nice clean cuts. If you cut off the "Tabs", then add 90 degree strips of paper to glue to, the seams will be invisible.

ok, all 12 mods are done. now onto the connecting tunnels. i had a metal plate from a old project box to use for bending. one edge is sharp so it gives nice bends. the thickness is just the right size for these bends.and the wife gives me hell for not throwing out stuff..and yes, i do take off my glasses, can't see up close with them.

Smart investment. If the tanks are translucent, cover them from light, as they can grow algae and cause major clogging problems!! :)

thanks for the tip Zathros. computer and printer on a rolling stand that i pull out at night to get on. printer on bottom and i Velcroed the cis to the side of the printer so it wouldn't move or fall over. stored in front bedroom( storage room- soon mancave?) and shades are down. not much sunlight in there

Did she see the movie? I still had my wife saying, "WTF, did I just watch?" I have a home Theater, 200" screen, LCD Projector, and was stopping every 10 minutes to try and explain. Oh well!

I think if you had Photoshop CS3 or CS5, you would have found that easy to upscale. With a printer, too many cut off parts. You really would need to rearrange parts and such. Of course, that makes it harder to play with. ;)

No she didn't see the movie. she don't like them.... " you should stay in the real world" as she says. she has her family type movies to watch and i watch mine ( sometimes i gotta watch hers too..UGGG )
